Itinerary
Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta international airport, you will be met by your driver/ tour guide. It is required that your flight arrive on the first day early in the morning, preferably before 1300hrs, if you will arrive late we can help you book a hotel in Nairobi for an extra night.
Your safari destination for the first leg will be the Amboseli National Park. The view of Mt. Kilimanjaro compensates for the dusty safari through the magnificent landscapes of Africa.
After that you will get lunch and then it is time for your first game drives in Amboseli national park. An already vulnerable environment in Amboseli offers a rich representation of wildlife as it boasts of over 50 different kinds of mammals. This park has been identified to be the best place to observe free ranging elephants among other wildlife on the African continent.
For the next two nights you will be accommodated at the Amboseli Serena. The spacious dst-tents have private, custom made beds with locally sourced bush logs that will make for good nights’ sleep. Permanent accommodation amenities include self contained flush toilet, shower and wash basin.

In the morning of your last day you will go for a final game drive before you exit Amboseli national park. You will take a long drive from Nairobi today but it will be full of beautiful sceneries and the drive will take you through the fertile area of Karatina to the Laikipia Plateau. This highland is found west of Mt Kenya ranging between 1800 and 2200 meters above the sea level.
What followed was a nice picnic lunch on the way and in the late afternoon you will arrive at your accommodation just outside the town of Nanyuki. Nanyuki town affords a vantage view of one of the foremost natural landmarks of Kenya, Mount Kenya which is the highest in the country and the second in Africa.
In the next two days and nights, you will be spending your time at Sweetwaters Serena Hotel. This lodge has facilities such as a swimming pool and beautiful green compound. The hotel rooms are adequately sized and furnished; all the rooms come with an en-suite bathroom.

In the morning after breakfast you will be taken to Ol Pejeta conservancy which is a private wildlife conservancy of over 90000 acres that supports conservation of endangered species. It hosts most of the big 5 and other animals such as the wild dogs, reticulated giraffes and has the only Chimpanzee sanctuary in the whole of Kenya. Here you can watch these human like apes from close and the rangers will be there to explain to you all that you wish to know. At the Morani rhino information center you can feed and friendly touch Baraka, a blind black rhino. You also get the chance to watch the last 3 southern white rhinos in the world from a distance. Learn about mammals in Ol Pejeta and know how poaching has affected the Rhino species in the last 30 years. Especially in the morning and in the evening the chances are high to have a clear view to Mt. Kenya.

Early in the morning, one can have a glimpse of Mount Kenya as you proceed to the Samburu national reserve. On arrival you will undertake an en-route game drive to the lodge as you take your lunch. In the afternoon, after lunch, you will go for a long game drive in the park.
Samburu national reserve is one of the most upcoming and best conserved reserves in Kenya and is situated in the middle of the country. It covers an area of 165 Km2 is the climate is semi-arid. The most southern border is the Ewaso Ngiro River where Dumpalms and Acacias grow on the bank of this river. The northern part of the parkhas grass Savannah plains and dry woodland.
The next two nights you will spend in Samburu Sopa lodge. Samburu Sopa lodge is in Samburu National Reserve in Northern Kenya and was designed on a kind of elevation to offer stunning view of the expansive Samburu plains and the hills in the distance. The type of accommodation is a lodge that has been designed to display the traditional architecture of the Samburu people.

Today, you will have a whole day full day game viewing in the park, starting with the dry northern plains and the wooded river in the southern part of the park. Early in the morning you set of for you morning game drive. Due to the semi-desert conditions you are most likely to sight animals when the air is still come, preferably in the morning. Just once in a while you may be lucky enough to find a kill of last night!.
In the afternoon you get ready for another game drive. Be on the lookout for leopards sleeping in trees! In the evening you are free to either spend your time at the lodge or take a swim in the swimming pool.

After breakfast you will go for a game drive en-route from Samburu national reserve. Begin with a cup of coffee or tea, then take breakfast before going for an early morning game drive in the park. In the morning after taking your breakfast you can go for a game drive again whereby you can be able to see lions, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs and many more. You will then return to the lodge for lunch and some rests before proceeding with the nterview.
They use the 4pm to go for a game drive since light is best for taking exciting views of the landscape. In the early morning you will depart for the Masai Mara game reserve on the border of Maasai Tanzania. This area is an excellent annual animal concentration and is characterized by the short savanna plains throughout the year. One of the most striking attractions is the annual migration of wildebeest which occurs every July to October when over two million of the animals migrate from the Serengeti, in Tanzania.
On arrival at the gate you will have an en-route game drive to the camp which is a tented camp for the next two nights. We will go for another game drive in the afternoon and be in search of lions, buffaloes and antelopes and also take a look at the hippo’s and crocodiles which could be sighted along the Mara River.
For the next two consecutive nights you will spend the night at the Loyk Mara. The camp is well situated in the middle of the reserve near the Mara River and offers magnificent views. Our tents are situated in the marshy areas around the local river with camp chairs and a sitting area right in front for game and bird watching.
