This journey is set to be exclusively yours, with no other travelers joining you. Begin any day that works for you, and if desired you can request modifications to the tour's accomodations and destinations. Please note that only travelers of 1 year or older can book this private tour.
Take a memorable journey through the bush in a pop-up roof 4x4 vehicle while participants are able to experience game drives, evening/night game drives, walking safaris with an armed guide, nature hikes or walks and a boat trip. For an extra fee, Airport transfers both to and from the destination can be conveniently arranged.

At 5:30 am, you will be picked-up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and taken on the 6-hour journey to Mikumi National Park. Experience the untouched beauty of Tanzania on this drive. Once you arrive, check-in and have some lunch before heading out for a game drive inside the park. This is your chance to spot lions, elands, hartebeests, buffalos, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and elephants in their natural habitat. At night, stay at the Mikumi Park Cottage to observe the wildlife's behavior. Enjoy dinner, followed by a restful sleep.
Wake up early and set out for an unforgettable morning game drive, when most predators are on the prowl. Drive until 8:40 am and then enjoy a morning meal. After breakfast, embark on a 40-minute safari to Udzungwa National Park, home to the tallest waterfall in Tanzania. Don't forget your swim wear - take a dip in the natural pool! Once you arrive, you'll be met by a guide who will lead you on a stunning hike and picnic lunch overlooking the Sanje Waterfall. Afterwards, descend the mountains and head back to Mikumi for a stay at Camp Bastian.
In the morning, you will start your day with a tour of the Maasai culture and customs at 6:30 am. Once breakfast is complete by 8:30, you will start your journey to Nyerere National Park, which can take 7-8 hours. Along the way, you'll be able to take in amazing views as you enjoy a picnic lunch. Your accommodations for the night will be provided by Selous Jimbiza Camp, including meals for the evening.
Start your day off with breakfast in your accommodation and then take a full day game drive in Nyerere National Park. This beautiful park is home to a large population of elephants, a big number of buffalos, and wild dogs. Other frequently seen animals include lions, bush buck, impalas, giraffes, elands, baboons, zebras, and kudu. During the mid afternoon, you can go on a boat safari across the great Rufiji River where you'll get to observe hippos and crocodiles in their natural environment. To finish off the day, you'll be dining and spending the night at Selous Jimbiza Camp.
Before sunrise, take an exciting walking safari guided by a bushman! You'll have the opportunity to learn about the various wildlife and vegetation species that inhabit the breathtaking Nyerere National Park. Starting at 6:00-6:30 am and lasting 2-3 hours, the walk is sure to be an unforgettable experience. After the hike, tuck into a delicious breakfast before you make your way to Dar es Salaam to finish off the day. And that concludes your tour!
