4-Day Imbali Safari Lodge, Kruger National Park

You will be picked up by your Mr. Shuttle driver-guide from your hotel in Johannesburg or the airport and depart to Imbali Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will be assisted with your check-in for the 3-night stay. You will be taken to your room where you will settle in. Depending on the time of arrival, lunch can be arranged. Later in the afternoon, you will depart on your first evening game drive. Since this is a Big Five reserve, seeing lion, leopard, elephant, rhino and buffalo is possible. After your game drive, you will head back to the lodge. You can then enjoy a magical 3-course dinner under the stars. Good wine and good conversation flow while you listen to the enchanting sounds of the surrounding bush coming alive at night.

Kick-start your day before the sun rises with coffee and rusks before setting off on your morning drive. Watch as the bush awakens around you. See wild dogs laze under the acacia trees and elephants leave their distinct trail as they chomp through the bush at a leisurely pace. Steal a glance at the leopard eating its prey high up in an old tamboti tree. Return to the lodge to enjoy a cold and hot buffet breakfast. You can then retire to your room and relax, laze at the crystal-clear infinity pool or request a bush walk for an up-close encounter with the Kruger. Lunch will be served on the deck with beautiful views of the surrounding bushveld and the Nwaswitsontso River. Afternoon tea will be served on the deck before departing on your evening safari drive. Spot a pride of lazy lions lounging casually in the tall grass. Sip a sundowner G&T as you watch the sky turn from the brilliance of an African sunset to a bright band of stars. Return to the lodge for a romantic dinner on the deck.

Kick-start your last day before the sun rises by dunking a homemade rusk into a steamy cup of coffee before setting off on your morning safari with your assigned ranger. Return to the lodge to enjoy an extensive cold and hot buffet breakfast in the comfortable dining room of Imbali Safari Lodge. An impressive jackalberry tree rises through the deck of the dining room and the Tsonga-styled thatched roof. After breakfast and depending on your flight/departure time, you will meet up with your Mr. Shuttle driver-guide at the reception. They will assist with your check-out and then start your journey back to your hotel in Johannesburg or the airport. Pit stops will be made on the way back to stretch your legs and enjoy the last bit of the fresh South African nature.
