From the moment we met our guide, Linah, at the airstrip, we felt completely welcomed. Her knowledge and patience made our safari experience truly unforgettable. The camp itself was stunning and wonderfully peaceful, with all staff being exceptionally friendly. The food was delicious, and the variety on offer was remarkable, especially considering we were in the heart of the bush—our favorite part was the ever-changing soups served at lunch and dinner. Rebecca and Andree were also fantastic hosts, adding to the warm and inviting atmosphere. Our tent was extremely comfortable and offered breathtaking views over the gully, where wildlife was constantly visible. Leaving was bittersweet, and we hope to return someday.

We were slightly unlucky with the weather, as our visit coincided with the start of the short rains. Despite that, we still enjoyed some sunshine and found plenty to do at the hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and peaceful, and the variety of food was outstanding, with three different restaurants offering plenty of options—perfect for mixing things up in the evenings. Down on the beach, there was no shortage of activities, from relaxing to water sports and beach games. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return—perhaps during the dry season to fully avoid the rain.
