Amazing

This lodge was hands down our favourite of the trip. The staff made us feel completely at home—especially Wendy, who oversaw the catering and made every meal feel special. Our accommodation was incredibly spacious and finished to an exceptional standard. We’d come back in a heartbeat

Although the accommodation was on the simpler side, staying in a tree house made it a truly unique and memorable experience. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special, and one of the highlights was enjoying breakfast out in the bush—an experience we won’t forget!

While the facilities at Latitude were certainly up to a 4 or 5-star standard, the experience was let down by the service—particularly at the reception desk. The staff came across as disinterested and unwelcoming, which made checking in feel more like an inconvenience than a warm welcome. To make matters worse, our room wasn’t even ready when we arrived on our first night. The overall vibe felt more corporate than comfortable, and unfortunately, the lack of genuine hospitality left a sour impression. We wouldn’t choose to stay here
