FAQs
The package typically includes accommodation, domestic flights between destinations, daily breakfasts (and some additional meals in safari lodges), guided tours, game drives in Kruger National Park, and selected excursions such as Cape Town city tours and Victoria Falls visits. International flights, visas, travel insurance, and personal expenses are usually excluded.
You will stay in a mix of comfortable hotels in Cape Town and Victoria Falls, as well as safari lodges or camps in Kruger Park. Lodges are designed to provide an authentic bush experience while maintaining modern comfort.
Kruger is home to the “Big Five” (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino), along with giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and hundreds of bird species. Game drives are guided by experienced rangers for the best chance of sightings.
Visa requirements depend on your nationality. Many travelers do not require a visa for South Africa, but most will need one for Zimbabwe or Zambia (depending on which side of Victoria Falls you’ll be visiting). A KAZA Univisa is available for some nationalities and covers both Zimbabwe and Zambia.
Lightweight clothing in neutral colors, a warm jacket for early morning game drives, comfortable walking shoes, a hat, sunscreen, insect repellent, swimwear, and a good camera are recommended. For Victoria Falls, a waterproof poncho or jacket is useful due to the spray from the falls.
The trip can be enjoyed year-round. However, May to October (dry season) is best for game viewing in Kruger as animals gather around water sources. November to April (green season) offers lush landscapes and fewer tourists. Victoria Falls is at its fullest from February to May, with spectacular water flow.
