2-Day Addo Elephant National Park Safari

Today marks your arrival at The Addo Wildlife Lodge. Upon check-in, make yourself comfortable in your accommodations. Prepare for a 4-hour sunset game drive in the Addo Wildlife Private Game Reserve in the afternoon. You will embark on a safari led by a knowledgeable guide who will take you through the stunning citrus orchards to the private game reserve along the banks of the Sunday River. Keep an eye out for giraffes, plain zebras, and various antelope species, including kudu, eland, impala and sable. There will be a stop for snacks and drinks in the beautiful spekboom bush, and the experience will conclude with a buffet-style meal served over open fires at either the private Bush-River Boma or Tangelo Restaurant. Spend a restful night in the luxurious accommodations at Addo Wildlife.

On the second day, embark on a full-day adventurous game drive safari in the third largest national park in South Africa, where you can experience an exciting African safari. The park was home to only 11 elephants in 1931 when the first section was proclaimed, but today, you can observe over 700 elephants. In addition to the famous Addo elephants, the park is also home to lions, black rhinos, various species of antelope, the endemic flightless dung beetle, and offers excellent birding opportunities. Addo Elephant National Park provides the chance to see the African Big Five in their natural habitat. You can enjoy a wide range of wildlife, from the large elephants to the small Addo dung beetles. Throughout the day, savor a traditional South African braai lunch in the heart of Addo Elephant National Park. The tour concludes around 5:00pm.
