Your adventure begins with an early pick-up from your hotel in Mombasa, Diani, or Malindi, setting off on a scenic journey inland through rural villages and sweeping savannah landscapes. Sit back and enjoy the changing views as you make your way toward Amboseli, with rest stops along the route.

Arriving in the afternoon, you’ll check in at your lodge or camp before heading out on your first game drive. Set against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Amboseli offers incredible sightings of large elephant herds along with lions, giraffes, zebras, and more roaming the open plains and wetlands.

As the sun sets—often casting a golden glow over Kilimanjaro—return to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay, surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

You’ll then depart the park and journey to Tsavo West, passing through the dramatic Shetani lava flows, a striking reminder of the area’s volcanic past. Arrive at your lodge or camp in time for lunch and a short rest before the afternoon adventure begins.

Later, head out on a game drive with a visit to Mzima Springs, where you can watch hippos and crocodiles from a unique underwater viewpoint. Keep an eye out for leopards, lions, elephants, and other wildlife as you explore this rugged landscape before returning to your lodge for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.

Rise early for one last game drive in Tsavo West, making the most of the quiet morning hours when wildlife is most active. You may explore scenic spots like Roaring Rocks or the Ngulia area, known for occasional leopard sightings.

After the drive, return to your lodge for breakfast before checking out and starting your journey back to the coast, passing along the edges of Tsavo East and rejoining the coastal highway.

By late afternoon or early evening, you’ll be back at your beach hotel, ready to unwind by the ocean with incredible safari memories to cherish.
