You'll make your own way to the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport to check into your prebooked flight from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport to the Hoedspruit Airport. The flight route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you over the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment, and through the scenic Lowveld region.

You'll arrive at Hoedspruit Airport, where you meet your safari guide and enjoy a 20-minute road transfer to the Kapama River Lodge. You'll check in for a light lunch. Freshen up and relax before it’s time to depart on a late-afternoon game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve.

Overnight at Kapama River Lodge. Guests dine in the lodge restaurant or outdoors on the wooden deck.

You'll wake up early (5h30-6h00) for hot beverages and rusks before departing for a 3-hour sunrise game drive in Kapama Private Game Reserve. You'll return to your lodge for a late breakfast and spend the rest of the day relaxing at the pool or treating yourself to a spa session. You'll depart late afternoon after High Tea for a 3-hour sunset game drive in the private reserve, with a pitstop for sundowners in the bush.
Our Kapama River Lodge safari package also includes a 30-minute back, neck, and shoulder massage at the award-winning Kapama Wellness Centre. (Subject to availability)
