3-Day Mikumi Park and Maasai Village

Early morning (7:30am) pick up at your hotel, ferry station or airport in Dar es Salaam, introductions and briefing of tour program by our tour guide.
The journey will take about 6 to 7 hours, so you will get a good view of African hinterlands as we drive past local towns such as Kibaha and Morogoro. You will enjoy the scenic drive through rolling hills and rugged landscapes.
On arrival, see animals as you drive through the park towards your hotel. Check-in at the lodge and refresh.
Then in the late afternoon you will go to the nearby Maasai village for a cultural tour and activities and take lots of special photos in traditional attire. Return to the beautiful lodge afterwards and relax at the bar and campfire with drinks as you await your dinner buffet.

Full day of game drives at Mikumi National park
Enjoy a full day in the park starting with pick up at the lodge by our driver guide after your hot breakfast at 7:35 am.

What will you see during game drive in Mikumi NP?
The park it self is amazing with plenty of wildlife roaming freely, no fences anywhere. Its a very big park so the day will go before you know it.
At this park, you will see elephants, lions, antelopes, zebras, giraffes, impalas, hyena (usually in the evening or early morning only), buffalo, wildebeest, elands, hippos, leopard, lizards, and other small animals likes foxes, small monkeys and wild rabbits. The park is also home to over 200 species of birds that have been observed.
Enjoy a hot lunch in the middle of the park at the Mikumi cottages restaurant. Refresh and stretch your legs.

At sunset, you will exit the park towards the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay. The lodge is about 15 to 20 minutes drive away from the park gates.

Today will be focused on getting you back safely to the city. Enjoy a hot breakfast at the lodge before departure. You will stop in Morogoro town for some bites and refresh. Continue back to Dar es Salaam and arrive in the evening and and you be dropped off at your hotel, ferry station, or airport.
