3-Day Salt Lick Safari Lodge Train Package

Kick off your journey with an early transfer to the SGR station in Nairobi or Mombasa, where you’ll board the Madaraka Express for a relaxed ride to Voi. Enjoy changing views of the countryside as you travel.

On arrival, your guide will meet you and drive you to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, set on the edge of Tsavo West National Park. After settling in and lunch, head out for your first game drive.

Expect to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and more as the day winds down. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and a peaceful night in the wild.

Wake up to the sounds of the wild and enjoy breakfast as wildlife gathers around the waterhole. Then head out for a morning game drive through the diverse landscapes of Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, from open plains to wooded areas and gentle hills.

Return to the lodge for lunch and some downtime, where you can relax while watching animals right from your deck or balcony. Later, set out again for an afternoon game drive, exploring new areas or revisiting your favorite spots.

For a more unique experience, you can choose an optional night game drive, offering a chance to spot nocturnal wildlife like bush babies, civets, hyenas, and even predators in action.

End the day with dinner at the lodge and unwind for another peaceful night in the heart of nature.

After the drive, return to the lodge for breakfast and check out. You’ll then be transferred to Voi Railway Station for your return journey on the Madaraka Express back to Nairobi or Mombasa, bringing your safari to a smooth and relaxing close.
