Morning: Golden Monkey Tracking in Volcanoes NP

Park Headquarters (7:00 AM) – You'll meet rangers for a briefing and group allocation.

Trekking Adventure (2-4 hours) – You'll hike through bamboo forests to find playful golden monkeys, an endangered species endemic to the Virunga region.

Return to Lodge – You'll freshen up and prepare for the journey to Uganda.

Afternoon: Cross-Border Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Lunch in Musanze – Quick meal before departure.

Drive to Bwindi (4-5 hours) – You'll cross the Rwanda-Uganda border at Cyanika/Katuna, with scenic views of tea plantations and the Virunga Mountains.

You'll check in at your lodge to have dinner and an overnight stay.

Trekking (2-6 hours) – You'll hike through dense jungle to find a gorilla family, spending 1 magical hour observing them.

Return to Lodge – Celebrate your encounter and freshen up.

Afternoon: You'll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi.
Lunch in Buhoma – You'll enjoy a meal before departure.

Scenic Drive to Lake Bunyonyi (2-3 hours) – One of Uganda’s most beautiful lakes, surrounded by terraced hills.

You'll check in at Bushara Island Camp.
