4-Day Kapama Karula Camp Fly-in Safari from Cape Town

Guests will fly into Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport from Cape Town. We will also meet you at Eastgate for transportation to and from Kapama Game Reserve.

After a light meal and some time to clean up, you will go on a game drive deep within the reserve with your guide and spotter. Along the route, you will pull over for a drink and some fresh air as the sun sets behind the Drakensberg Mountains. The nocturnal animals of the jungle emerge as dusk approaches. A variety of unique species may be noticed on the way back to the resort at night. The skilled tracker will sweep the landscape with a flashlight, illuminating the animals' eyes.

Arrival at the lodge is usually around 19h00, in time for a delicious dinner. Your accommodation is provided at the exclusive Kapama Karula Lodge.

On these days, you will rise between 05h00 and 05h30 for tea, coffee, and rusks before setting off on morning game drives or even a bush walk.

After a substantial breakfast at the lodge, you will have time to relax by the pool, read a nice book, enjoy the rest of the lodge's amenities or participate in another optional activity.

After a sumptuous high tea, you will go on an afternoon wildlife drive that may last past twilight. The day will invariably conclude with a delicious dinner and a discussion of the day's sightings.

The third and final day of your safari will begin with an early morning wildlife drive and, hopefully, some more unforgettable sightings. After the drive, you will have a scrumptious breakfast back at the lodge before being transferred to the Eastgate Airport for your return flight.
