4-Day Olifants River Safari

You will begin our tour with a shared shuttle transfer, departing OR Tambo Airport at 7:45. Crossing 3 provinces, you will make our way to the Northern Drakensberg Escarpment before arriving in Phalaborwa, where you will be met by your guide. Wind down at your lodge by the pool before dinner served at the hotel. Optional: add an afternoon private scenic tour of the mountains before we take you to your lodge.

In the morning we pick you up early, for your morning boat cruise of Olifants River with breakfast served at the boat. Enjoy the serene morning air, observe animals from the river and take in the beautiful landscape. Optional: fishing activity with all equipment provided.

You will then enjoy a private afternoon safari with a professional and experienced Khalanga Safaris nature guide. Our guide's knowledge of the African bush is amazing and you will enjoy many animal sightings en route to our first the rest camp where we will spend the night. Dinner is prepared by your guide.

We will spend the day in Kruger National Park, looking for animal sightings and enjoying the natural beauty of Kruger National Park from the vantage point of your open safari vehicle. Your private guide not only shares his incredible knowledge of the African bush with you, but involves you in actively looking out for signs of animal activity, giving you an idea of what it means to not only know all about the animals, but to understand them intimately. Later on, your guide will prepare dinner for you to enjoy under the light of the stars, in celebration of the last night of your safari adventure.

Before we make our way out of the park and to the shuttle departure location you will enjoy your last morning game drive in Kruger Park. You leave at around 11 am and will be back at the airport by 17:00. It is sad to say goodbye, but you are more than likely to come back to Kruger National Park soon, in search for more adventures!
