4-Day Sabi Sands Umkumbe Safari Lodge

You will be picked up in Johannesburg at the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal by 7:00 am and driven east along the N4 motorway through the Gauteng and Mpumalanga Highveld. Go down the escarpment, and into the scenic Lowveld to the reserve within the Greater Kruger National Park.

The drive will take about six hours, with stops for refreshments. After arriving at the lodge at around midday, you will have time to freshen up and relax before embarking on your first-afternoon game drive in the reserve in an open safari vehicle.

If the weather permits, a delicious starlit dinner will be served at the lodge.

You'll spend the night in luxury at Umkumbe Safari Lodge, and your package includes lunch and dinner.

You will be woken up early and have just enough time for a hot beverage and rusks before departing on a 3-hour game drive to see the sunrise in the east.

After brunch, you can spend the rest of the day at the pool or lazing around before heading out for an afternoon game drive with an expert guide. You'll return in time for another dinner under the stars.
