4-Day Tau Game Lodge, Madikwe Game Reserve

Your journey will start with a “meet and greet” at either OR Tambo International Airport or at your hotel, where you will be met by your shuttle driver/guide, who will get you started on your 2-day adventure.

Once you arrive at Tau Game Lodge, you will be taken to reception to get checked in and will be escorted to your room to get settled in and will have some time to freshen up.

Now you are settled in, you are going to go and meet up with your ranger will during afternoon tea get you informed about the safari drive that awaits you, and from there you will be shown to your game viewer.

You'll have time to depart on your evening/night game drive to get a chance to catch all the animals that Tau has to offer.

Upon arrival back from your safari drive, you will have some time to go and freshen up before going for dinner which will be served in one of the cozy boma under the stars, or the lapa next to the main lodge.

An early morning wake-up call awaits you today, you will go for some morning coffee and tea and get ready to embark on your first safari drive of the day. You will now depart on a morning game drive to have a chance to catch all the animals that Madikwe Game Reserve has to offer.

You'll return from the morning drive and have breakfast while looking out on the African bush. After breakfast, you will have some time to just sit back and relax be it by the pool with a cocktail or even get a spa treatment.
You'll have time for lunch to get you through the rest of the action-packed day of your safari.
You will now meet up with your ranger to discuss the drive before departing on the evening/night game drive.
Upon arrival back from the afternoon game drive and sun-downers, there will be some time for you to get all freshened up and get ready to go to dinner which is normally served in the bush boma with an open fire, where you can sit back and relax before returning to your chalet.

Departure From Lodge

An early morning wake-up call awaits you this morning to get ready for the day and to get you started, early morning tea and coffee await.

Now it is time for you to depart on your morning safari drive, where you have another chance to catch the last few photos of all the animals at the watering holes in all their splendor.

When you get back from your game drive you will be met with a delicious buffet breakfast that is generally served in the main building or on the lapa.
