4-Day Visit to Kundudo Wild Horses Reserve

After transfer to Dire Dawa Airport, we drive to Harar, the old city which is the UNESCO's World Heritage Site. Around mid-day you will check in to your hotel and have your lunch. After relaxation and rest at your accommodation, you will experience afternoon city tour to explore scenic beauty of the city different attraction sites including The Harar Wall which encircles the old city. After sunset, you will enjoy The Hyena Man Show feeding his friendly Hungry hyenas. The scene is spectacular and unforgettable to any visitor who experience this show. After Hyena Man Show, you will return to your hotel rooms or continue your evening walk to see the beautiful night view of Harar. Lastly, you will return to your hotel rooms and enjoy your dinner experiencing cool night in Harar preparing for the next day historic tour to Kundudo Wild Horses Reserve.

After breakfast at Wonderland Hotel, we will drive to Gursum district and register our trip with Tourism office and pay entrance fee to the park. Then we will drive to the base of Kundudo Mountain and then walk up the hill to reach the peak where the Feral horses are found. Then you will encounter with these majestic animals endemic to this part of Ethiopia. the Panoramic view of the mountain is breathtaking. We will have our picnic lunch on the peak enjoying the scenery of wild horses habitat. In the afternoon we will return to our hotel rooms in Harar after extended visit of Funyan Bira town to observe local interaction of people in their daily life.

Early morning, we will have breakfast at Wonderland Hotel and depart to Gursum to visit Shek Adam Goba Shrine
and Aw Kaba mosque. These are historic sites known for ancient architectural works and their religious significance
in the Islamic Civilization of the past. You will observe ancient architectural design from local materials before the advent
of the current modern engineering design supported by technological advancement at the edge of science and technology.
We will return to Funyan Bira for our lunch and then continue visiting more tourist spots in Gursum including pastoral Rock painting sites and beautiful scenery of rock formations in the area. In the late afternoon, we will return to Harar for overnight stay.

After breakfast in Harar, you will be transferred to airport in Addis Ababa for your journey back home. We will drive
