Day 01 :

Arrival in Arusha

When you arrive at Kilimanjaro or Arusha Airport, we shall be waiting to transfer you to your.selectedlodging at Under the Shade Safari Lodge. In your free time, and on your own, you can visit some of the Arusha attractions like the Cultural Heritage Art Gallery, the local market, and the Maasai Market depending on time availably. This way you are able to cover some cultural interesting places before arriving at the lodge.

Day 02 :

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Today, your safari adventure begins! Your guide and driver will be waiting for you at the lobby of your lodge at 7:40 a.m after havingbreakfast. You will then proceed to Tarangire National Park, which is a 2-hour drive away and famous for large elephant population and serene atmosphere with huge ancient baobab tree. During the game drive in an open roof car you will be taken around the park to view seasonal swamps, the expansive savannah, and the Tarangire River that is rich in wild life. One can sight several types of birds , svelte giraffes, lovely impalas, zebras, majestic lions, leopards, enormous elands, warthogs and the mightiest elephants. You will have packed lunch at an awesome view area for taking an eyeful of more game. In the evening, you will proceed to Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 03 :

Karatu to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will proceed with your journey to Serengeti National Park. It also offers a long and sometimes bumpy drive with a game viewing duration of 4-5 hrs as you drive up the crater highlands to the vast Serengeti plains. If the weather is fine, and there is no mist, visitors are taken to the Ngorongoro View point where they will spend 10minutes to view the Ngorongoro caldera before proceeding to Serengeti.

You can even take a lunch with you and enjoy the beauty of nature along the way or you will be provided with a tasty meal that you will want to rest and occur the view. Once you arrive in the park you are taken for an afternoon game drive to ensure you encounter as many animals as possible. In the evening, you will proceed to lodge/accommodation where a hearty meal awaits you, then spend the night in the serene Serengeti plains.

Day 04 :

Serengeti Full Day

Immerse yourself with a one day game drive in the park that is globally famed Serengeti National Park. Through-out the day, experience the thrill of an early morning game drive to view and largest population of the big five and over 500 bird species in the park. When the sun sets, go back to your accommodation where you will be served an early dinner and spend the night. For a fee, you can organize for a hot-air balloon safari or a walking safari to make the experience even more exciting.

Day 05 :

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

This means that you will start early in the morning when you wake up and assemble at the vehicle at around 6:00 am. The aim is to arrive early in the morning and conduct a sunrisegame drive so that the animals are most likely to be active. After an exciting game drive, a magnificent picnic area will be provided in the middle of the wilderness. Here, you can enjoy your breakfast cup of tea or coffee with some biscuits accompanied with wonderful views of the natural sceneries.

The game drive will proceed until mid morning and continue with opportunities for more game viewing. At this point, you will take your lunch break and then continue to Ngorongoro. In the evening, you will be transferred to your lodging facility where a delicious supper will be served before spending the night. Relax and take in the congenial atmosphere of the lodge before you center yourself for more fun and adventure in the next few days.

This accommodation type is a mid-range tented camp situated on the edge of the crater rim of Ngorongoro Crater.

Day 06 :

Ngorongoro Crater

Today, we will begin our day very early after getting into the safari jeep at around 6:00 am. The final stop is the wondrous Ngorongoro crater where we shall descend with the packed breakfast. This unique park is populated by a rich variety of wild East African animals including black rhino which may also be sighted somewhere in the park. Measuring at a diameter of about 20 kilometers and occupying a land size of about 260 square kilometers, it will take anyone roughly 5 to 6 hours to go around and observe all the spectacular features of the area.

When we are through with the tour in the crater, we will have to return to Arusha. Expect to arrive in the town in the evening, probably around 5 or 6 pm, thus marking the climax of our exciting safari.
