6-Day Victoria Falls & Hwange Amazing Holiday Package

Have a meet and greet with the ASM Travel Guide at the Victoria Falls Airport and then be transferred to Bayete Collections Lodges or a similar lodge for a 3-night stay. On arrival, you'll check in and then embark on an afternoon dinner cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.

The Zambezi River is the fourth-longest in Africa, the longest east-flowing river in Africa and the largest flowing into the Indian Ocean from Africa. The area of its basin is 1,390,000 square kilometres, slightly less than half of the Nile. Enjoy the best of both worlds: a spectacular Zambezi dinner cruise followed by a 4-course meal freshly prepared on-board and served to you while cruising along the river with the sounds of the African bush providing your background music. After a hearty breakfast, we will drive to the rainforest for a 2-hour guided tour of the falls. Victoria Falls, known by the local Kololo tribe as Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning "the smoke that thunders", is one of the Seven Wonders of the World and one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls on earth.

In the afternoon, we take off for lunch. We'll enjoy delicious meals overlooking the Zambezi River at the Lookout Café, situated above the spectacular chasm of the Batoka Gorge. It is an ideal restaurant - not to be missed! The semi open-air café offers undoubtedly the best view in Victoria Falls,.

You can go on an optional helicopter "flight of angels" (12-15 minutes). To put the Victoria Falls into true perspective, they must really be seen from the air. The sheer size and grandeur of the spectacle become clear when viewed from above.

We will end the day at the Boma Dinner Dance and Drum Show.

We'll have breakfast in the morning, and at 07h00, drive towards Kasane, Botswana, for a day trip. We will experience a full-day excursion with 3-hour activities in the famous Chobe National Park. Get the best of both worlds in specially adapted open 4x4 game-drive vehicles and by boat cruise.

You will be picked up for your activity, a river cruise in the park. This cruise offers an opportunity to see a host of waders, waterbirds, and the ever-present crocodiles and lurking hippos. After 3 hours in the river, you return, and a satisfying lunch is served. After a 1-hour lunch break, guests head off on a game drive, getting close to nature with open 4x4 vans. Chobe has the highest elephant density in the world. Frequent lion sightings occur in Chobe, and sables and roan antelopes are common.

We are dining at Three Monkeys which is known by its gigantic wood fired pizzas, burgers with cocktails. It must be one of the most photographed spots in town!

We will take a drive to the Hwange National Park after our breakfast. It is an approximately 270-kilometre one way trip that goes through the villages/town and the Hwange town. We will check in at the Hwange Safari Lodge (on a half-board basis) and prepare for the late afternoon game drive in Hwange National Park.

Hwange National Park is the biggest game park in Zimbabwe. The park is located on the West of the major road in Bulawayo to the widely recognized and popular Victoria falls, spanning 14,000 square kilometres. Take a sundowner in the wild and have dinner at the lodge. Your day is crowned by campfire stories and watching the stars. You'll then climb the stairs of your comfortable safari suites to settle in for the night.

Day starts early at 05h30. We begin with the continental breakfast, cereal, fruit, toast, juice, coffee and tea. The dining area is where breakfast is served, and you can watch the bush awakening here and perhaps see the first wildlife of your day. At 06h30 we set out on our game drive in the 14,651 square kilometre Hwange National Park.

Then we head back to the safari lodge where you rest and clean up, enjoy a hot and cold brunch and rest up. Go to the pool, have a nap or read a book in the shades, and then check out together over tea, coffee and a sweet treat. Our second game drive of the day sets off at 15h00 when we head back into the world renowned Hwange National Park.

And we get another early wake-up this morning to take a last game drive in Hwange. Besides having more than 100 species of mammals, Hwange also presents spectacular birdlife. Ornithology enthusiasts will be delighted by the number of species more than 500 species here be found; especially the massive raptor population.

Enjoy your breakfast, check out and you are taken back to the Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone Airport to continue your tour or destination. This will mark the close of the tour.
