Kenya boasts of some of the best national parks and on this tour, you will be able to visit most of them. It is also cheap or relatively expensive depending on how you look at it and it can be a very hectic place for game viewing and a very high likelihood of sighting the Big Five and the ugly five.
Still on the features of the safari, it is mainly about observing wildlife and natural features of the landscape, different cultures of the community inhabiting the parks, photography, viewing various ecosystems and game drives via professional tour guides. Spend most of the tour in the creme de la creme that is Masai Mara National Reserve.

Itinerary
Your safari starts with a pick-up at 7:pick up at 0730 am from your hotel or airport in Nairobi then proceed to Amboseli National Park.
You get to Amboseli in the early afternoon, when you will have an opportunity to check-in your preferred lodge/camp, take a hot lunch and have a break before heading out for the afternoon game drive. At 4:At around 0600 hrs breakfast is served, then at around 1500 hrs go for the afternoon game drive.
The focus here is to note that Amboseli National Park is home to the world’s largest population of elephants. There are over 1600 elephants residing in the park from 56 families. There is a name on the top of each elephant’s picture, meaning each of the elephants is named.
Following the game drive, we will head back to the lodge/camp, wash up and have our lunch breakfast prepared for us.
Your accommodation for the night will be the Amboseli Sopa Lodge.

Weather: Since the area is semi-arid, the best time to visit would be during the monsoon season between June-October, as well as during the winter season, in the months of January-February.

After breakfast, get ready for the full day game drive.
For lunch, you will take an early lunch and go for a picnic with the park surrounding you in the afternoon.
Large elephant herds are common here and the animal is viewed, especially against the grand backdrop of Mount Kenya with its snowy peaks. The park boasts of several vegetation types such as wetlands, savannah, and acacia woodlands that give excellent shots of wildlife for photographers and game freaks.
In the later part of the evening, you will then proceed to the hotel for dinner and accommodation.

After having breakfast, make sure that you proceed to Naivasha. This will afford you a halt at the rift valley viewpoint to capture some pictures and later proceed to lake Naivasha.
You will be dropped at the hotel to check in and after that taken for lunch.
In the afternoon after lunch you will then proceed for a boat ride in the Lake Naivasha followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary as the heat from the sun has reduced. Here you get a one on one encounter with animals such as the giraffe and zebras, you are almost touching the animals.
You shall then transfer to the hotel for dinner and accommodation for the night.

Spend breakfast at the shores of Lake Naivasha and then proceed to the Hells Gate National Park. Then spend the night at Ziwa Bush Lodge.
Hell’s Gate Park which is found in the Great Rift Valley in Kenya, in the area surrounding Lake Naivasha is famous for its steep cliffs, geothermal activity, and Hell’s Gate gorge. Unlike most National Parks which are more of ecosystems that can only partly be explored via car traffic, it is more of an adventure park that allows hiking, biking or even rock climbing. The park contains wildlife like zebras, giraffes, and various bird species but there is a lack of big predators in the park. It has been used as a film backdrop, specifically to Disney’s “King of the savanna or The lion king.”

Capture the morning vistas by having breakfast then proceed for a morning game drive at lake Nakuru until midday.
This is paradise for the bird photographers because there is an incredible supply of a large number of birds. There are lions that climb trees, rhinoceros, Rothchilds giraffes, and of course, what makes it the pink lake: flamingoes.
After a hearty breakfast, take lunch followed by an amazing game drive before proceeding to Masai Mara National Reserve. Go for an evening nature trail with exceptionally beautiful sights of the plants/vegetation and animals with your company to guide you. You can also consider visiting the cultural center known as the Masai Village to familiarize yourself with the people’s way of living.

The sequence of the sites you will be visiting today is not set in stone and it is within your guide’s discretion as to how you will forego your day.
You can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for full day game drives around the park at 6:30 am with your picnic lunch. This will give you an opportunity to visit the Mara River where the migration takes place during the said time. Additionally, it is often more likely to have full day sightings of different animals and then retire to the lodge for dietary intake and rest at night.

Amboseli is popular for scenic views of Mount Kilimanjaro and big herds of elephants. Other animals that are easily seen in this park include lions, cheetahs, and various birding species.
