There is a rich population of wildlife in the Serengeti and among the animals include impalas, buffalos, crocodiles and hippos. Though the park is famous for its herds of zebras and wildebeest migration but the migration of these animals happens not but yearly. They are influenced by the rainfall and occur at specific periods of the year, which may be different in the following year. And in the months of November and December, the animals migrate from the forest and hilly districts in the north to the grass land areas in the south. They go back to the northern part of the country during the long rainy season that is from April to June. Besides the herds on the move you have chances to see predators like leopard, cheetahs and lions always keeping at a safe distance.
As the day comes to an end, you will head back to the hotel to enjoy a well-deserved dinner and have a comfortable night’s rest.
