The Uganda Wildlife Authority grants visitors permits for Gorilla trekking in Bwindi impenetrable National Park and chimp trekking in Kibale National Park. Included in the package are the transport in a 4×4 safari vehicle, game drives, an English speaking guide, and meals, and accommodation. Basic equipment that you will need are strong waterproof hiking boots, full-sleeved shirt, full trousers, gloves, a raincoat and insect repellent. Since wildlife photography involves shooting the animals against their will, it is advisable to have a good quality camera with extra batteries. Sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses are to shield from the sun while a backpack is useful to hold stuff during hiking. Carrying a walking stick of your own or which are provided at the parks is also essential due to the steep inclines.
