Itinerary
Transfer service from the hotel for our guide; arrive in Tarangire National Park at around 11:00am after a 2-hour drive. This park has one of the most impressive numbers of elephants in the whole country and is famous for many ancient baobab trees. You will be able to view these giants first hand and watch how not only the adult elephants but also their young ones behave. While doing a game drive we will consider reported animal sighting. There are many of them and they include elephants, fish, cows, rabbits, goats, and other tall animals such as giraffes, wildebeests and even zebras. The predators such as lions, cheetahs and leopards are somewhat harder to come by. Afterwards we shall take a bus to the river picnic site where we will be able to view the river and different animals as we take our lunch. Be aware of the small monkeys and baboons that will come and try to chase and steal your lunch. They are, however, nothing to worry about. He will later entertain us with a game drive after lunch but at 5:30 pm we will exit the park and head to our accommodation at Ngorongoro Marera Mountain View Lodge for Dinner & Overnight.
