Maun Airport in Botswana opens this tour. You’ll fly out by shared charter to the middle of the Chobe National Park, a place called Savute. Enjoy three nights at Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge, with luxurious chalets with breath-taking views across the Chobe NP. You can watch elephants and antelope in the water below you but the real drama is found on Savute’s game drives. Expert guides lead morning and afternoon drives in the search for Savute’s most famous residents, elephants, lions and spotted hyenas. Leopards patrol Savute’s isolated rocky hills, cheetahs watch the impala herds and in summer, the great zebra migration transforms the landscape.

Today you’ll fly out by shared private charter to the northern Okavango Delta and Setari. Set under giant trees on a private island, Setari is a true water camp. Guests explore this beautiful corner of the delta by boat, canoe and on foot. Begin the day with a mokoro (canoe) excursion, your expert guide pointing out birds and frogs as you drift along crystal-clear rivers. Island-hopping and walking safaris reveal the delta’s astonishing wealth of wildlife. You’ll enjoy star-lit supers and a convivial fireside ambience back at camp. With year round water surrounding the island this is the perfect Okavango Camp no matter what time of year you are on safari.

It’s a short flight from Setari to Maun Airport and then from Maun Airport per Helicopter to the Amber River Camp. Amber River Camp in the Okavango Delta offers an exceptional wildlife experience in a serene, remote setting.
