3-Day Tanzania Fly-in Tour to Ngorongoro, Tarangire & Manyara NP

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at your Zanzibar accommodation, you will head to Zanzibar International Airport for your morning flight to Arusha. Upon arriving at Arusha Airport, our driver will warmly greet you, holding a sign with your name for easy identification.

From there, your safari adventure will begin with a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds and diverse wildlife. Once you arrive, you will embark on a guided game drive, where you may encounter lions, giraffes, zebras and more.

Following a thrilling morning of exploration, you will stop for a relaxing lunch at a designated spot within the park. After lunch, you will continue your game drive, discovering the park's rich landscapes and abundant wildlife.

In the late afternoon, you will drive to Ngedere Lodges & Camps for an overnight stay. This charming accommodation offers a peaceful retreat, perfect for reflecting on the day's adventures.

After an early breakfast, we will depart for a full-day tour of the Ngorongoro Crater, with lunch prepared and packed in hampers. This breathtaking, self-contained ecosystem is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is often referred to as the 8th Natural Wonder of the World.

Ngorongoro Crater is believed to have originally been a mountain nearly as tall as Mount Kilimanjaro. It collapsed due to volcanic activity, forming the current crater/caldera. If you descend into the crater, which covers 264km² (102mi²) and has walls rising 600m (2,000ft), you will be rewarded with incredible wildlife viewing. Ngorongoro is one of the few places where critically endangered black rhinos are found.

After enjoying lunch at the hippo pool, we will continue our game drive to Lake Magadi, where you will likely see abundant pink flamingos, hippos and other bird species. After a full day of exploration, we will head to our campground for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will embark on today's Lake Manyara National Park adventure. This park features beautiful marshes, grasslands and woodlands. Along with more than 350 other bird species, flamingos are one of the park's main attractions. With the guidance of your Nature in Spirit Travel guide, you might even spot the famous tree-climbing lions resting on the branches of the trees!

Despite its small size, the park is one of the most picturesque locations in Africa. It is known for its diverse wildlife, including buffalo, elephants, giraffes, impalas, hippos and many smaller animal species. You will enjoy lunch at one of the park's picnic areas before continuing your exploration of this lush landscape. The park is filled with a canopy of vibrant greenery, and you can find baboons and blue monkeys living in the tall trees of the groundwater forest.

In the afternoon, you will drive back to the airport for your flight returning to Zanzibar.
