Itinerary
Start your tour arriving at Entebbe International Airport where you will be met by your tour guide. Following the briefing about your safari adventure, you will then be taken to a comfortable hotel in Entebae. Take a few hours or a day to rest and cool off after the long trip, and appreciate the calmness of the location.
f you fancy some more adventure then there are some extra activities that can be undertaken such as going for a nature walk to the Entebbe Botanical gardens where you will enjoy the sights of different exotic plants, birds, and monkeys or a visit to Uganda Wildlife Education Centre to learn about the rescued wildlife and the Ugandan conversation efforts.
Cap off your day with a satisfying meal at your hotel before getting ready for the next day’s activities.

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park; it is the largest Conservation Area in Uganda and one of the most scenic parks. Still en-route, make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary which has been established to conserve the rhino population. Here, you will track the rhinos both the white and the black ones; an exciting way to view the animals that are dear to wildlife enthusiasts.
Following the visit, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park in the afternoon. This will take you through uganda’s rolling countryside scenery before arriving at your accommodation in the park. Take some time out and recharge your batteries while admiring the beautiful scenery in preparation for the great safari experience.

Have an early morning breakfast and then go for a morning game drive to the Murchison Falls National Park. You can also watch the wild animals like elephants, giraffes, lions, buffaloes and different type of antelopes. The vast savannah and dense bush offer excellent opportunities for wildlife sightings and photography.
In the afternoon, you may visit the Nile cruise to enjoy a boat ride (as an extra activity). During this boat ride you get to the bottom of Murchison Falls, where you get chances to view hippos, crocodiles and many kinds of birds. Otherwise, you can go for a walk to the top of the Murchison Falls to get a stunning view of the falls and the Nile as it drains through the riparian gorge.
After that, retire back to your lodge and take a break.

In the morning, proceed for a road trip to Kibale National Park in Uganda known for its magnificent landscape and a multitude of primates. While driving, you can see vast areas of cultivated fields and move to a vast area of dense forests and small villages.
On your arrival in Kibale National Park in the evening, you will check into your lodge and have an opportunity to rest. This will give you some relaxing moments as you prepare for the chimps trekking experience that you will be undertaking in the next day.

Your day begins with a transfer from Kibale Forest to the Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is among the famous wildlife destinations in Uganda. Begin your day with a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains, one of the most popular and ideal places to spot wildlife within the Queen Elizabeth National Park. Big draws for visitors include elephants, buffaloes, antelopes and warthogs that can easily be spotted from this area. Depending on the type of game, chief carnivores are lions, leopards, and they are most active during the early mornings, early morning hunting is quite an adventure.
In the afternoon, you can opt for a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel at an extra cost. This waterway is home to large numbers of hippos and crocodiles and birdlife including eagles, fish eagle, pelican, king fisher. It also avails a more privileged vantage point which enables one to see animals congregating along the channel side.

Start the day with a morning game drive in the Ishasha Gauntlet sector of Queen Elizabeth Park famous for tree-climbing lions. See these impressive predators lazing on the branches, especially on fig and acacia trees, a thing that is rather unique. It is also a natural habitat to elephants, wild buffaloes, and several antelope types, making it a rich in fauna.
From the game drive, advance to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park which is also a World Heritage site for mountain gorilla conservation in Uganda. Over gentle tracks across hills, valleys, and woods and through local villages, Bwindi will be reached by afternoon.
This day is just packed with the excitement of getting a glimpse of the tree climbing lions and the hope of coming face to face with the giant apes in one of the oldest and most diverse forests in Africa.

Start the day with a fascinating gorilla trekking tour in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Following a briefing by park rangers, enter the thick jungles in search of a gorilla group. Accompanied by guides, cross through sharp rocks and crossings and navigate through the high amount of vegetation until you meet these animals. Just watch their every move for an hour, both their pranks and themselves when they are content.
After this wonderful experience, have lunch and then depart to Lake Mburo National Park. The ride covers scenic areas of hilly terrains and several small towns and the nutritive green plains of Uganda. You will arrive in the park by evening, in preparation for more discovery of the wildlife in Lake Mburo National park the following day.
This day brings an interesting face-to-face encounter with Gorilla and transfer to another Ugandan park.

This can be followed by a morning game drive in the Lake Mburo National park that is occupied by zebras, impalas, buffaloes, and even fabulous birdlife. It is still early in the morning and this is the best time to observe wildlife and take last photos. After having our breakfast, we leave for Entebbe International Airport.
On the way, there will be a stop at the Ugandan equator for photographs, for a demonstration of Coriolis force and for the opportunity to purchase local souvenirs. The countryside drive also affords great views and colorful local towns to capture the feel and end of the Uganda experience.

During the trip you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls National Park, Kibale National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, and Lake Mburo National Park which offers different experiences of Ugandan wildlife.
Many people venture on gorilla trekking in Uganda while on 10 Days Gorilla and Wildlife Safari Adventure because it involves moderate to high level of physical fitness. It may take 2 to 6 hours from the time you start the journey to meet the gorilla group that will be tracking. The journey includes crossing tough terraces covered with dense vegetation on steep slopes but the actual moment when you meet the mountain gorillas is more than rewarding. There are porters for hire to help in carrying the bags and be of help during the trip.
The 10-Day Gorilla and Wildlife Safari Adventure includes mid-range lodging, luxury tenting lodges, and comfortable safari lodges within the national parks. These facilities cover private amenities, fine cuisine, and beautiful scenery in the jungle. FACILITY/ ACCOMMODATION Upgrades to luxury lodges can be arranged On request.
It is recommended to visit while conducting the 10-Day Gorilla and Wildlife Safari Adventure during dry seasons, which are between June-August and December-February. These are a few good trekking months since many trails would still be hard due to the rains, and animals are easily seen around water and grazing areas. Nevertheless, Uganda’s parks are open throughout the year and the trip can be taken at any time of the year even during the rainy season since the beauty of the green landscapes prevails.
For the 10-Day Gorilla and Wildlife Safari Adventure, minimal but comfortable clothes of natural color, covered shoes, a rain coat, hat, sun block, insect repellent, and binocular for wildlife viewing. When it comes to gorilla trekking, one should wear pants / jeans, long sleeve shirt and gaiters to keep off thorny plants and ants. A camera together with extra batteries and memory cards are a must have to capture the wonderful scenes during the safari.
