3-Day Rwanda Gorilla and Golden Monkeys

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide. After a stop for lunch, you will proceed to Musanze, enjoying the scenic drive through Rwanda’s rolling hills.

If time permits, you will visit the stunning twin lakes—Lake Burera and Lake Ruhondo. Their deep blue waters, framed by steep hills, cascading waterfalls, and the distant Virunga Volcanoes, create a truly spectacular and unforgettable view.

Following an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters at Volcanoes National Park Headquarters, where you will meet your ranger guides and complete the necessary briefing before your trek.

You will then set off into Volcanoes National Park for the unforgettable experience of tracking mountain gorillas. Once the gorillas are located, you will spend a full hour observing these majestic creatures in their natural habitat.

After the trek, return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon, you may opt to visit the Iby’Iwacu Cultural Village to experience Rwanda’s rich traditions, music, and community life.

Dinner and overnight will be at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel.

Following breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters at Volcanoes National Park Headquarters, where you will meet your guides for the golden monkey tracking experience in Volcanoes National Park. After the trek, you will bid farewell to your lodge and begin your journey back to Kigali.

Upon arrival in Kigali, you will enjoy a complimentary city tour, visiting notable sites such as the local craft markets, the Kigali Genocide Memorial in Gisozi, and the Kigali Cultural Village. You will also have time for last-minute shopping in one of Africa’s most welcoming capitals.

After the tour, you will be transferred to Kigali International Airport for your international departure flight, marking the end of your safari.
