Upon your arrival, one of our representatives will extend a warm welcome and accompany you to the hotel for check-in. Following lunch, we'll journey to Lake Victoria, where you'll board a canoe or boat bound for Mabamba island, renowned for its exceptional bird-watching opportunities. Along the way, the stunning lagoon will offer glimpses of the majestic shoebill, a highlight of the journey. Mabamba island hosts a multitude of avian species, ensuring an unforgettable birding experience. Afterward, we'll return to the hotel, where you can unwind and rest.
Early in the morning, our driver will collect you from the hotel for a trip to Ziwa Rhino Ranch. Spend 2-3 hours observing the renowned white rhinos in their natural habitat and witnessing their interactions. Indulge in a delightful lunch at Amuka Safari Lodge before proceeding to Murchison Falls National Park. By evening, you'll reach your accommodation.
Main Destination: Murchison Falls National Park
Prepare to depart early in the morning following a hearty breakfast to fuel your adventure. We'll gather for a brief orientation about the game park before embarking on the tour, starting from Buligi game tracks. The journey promises magnificence, with sightings of baboons, crocodiles, buffalos, hippos, giraffes, kobs, and a variety of bird species enriching the game drive experience. Lunch will be served at the hotel before the Murchison hike, offering a chance to witness the grandeur of the River Nile at Fojao Falls. Capture beautiful memories with your camera and unwind in the evening as you return to your accommodation.
In the early morning, our driver will collect you and transport you to Kaniyo Pabidi Forest in Masindi for an unforgettable chimpanzee trekking experience. Over the course of 3-6 hours, you'll have the opportunity to observe these remarkable creatures in their natural habitat and witness their behavior up close. Following the trek, enjoy a leisurely lunch break before embarking on an evening nature walk around the accommodation.
Following breakfast, we will commence our journey to Queen Elizabeth via Fort Portal town, a scenic route that typically spans between 4-6 hours with a few stopovers along the way. This journey promises to delight your senses as you behold the captivating sights of Uganda, including enchanting tea gardens, diverse wildlife, and vibrant communities. A lunch break in Fort Portal offers an opportunity to savor the beauty of the area. Additionally, at the Tooro Kingdom Palace, you may observe the traditions and customs of the Batooro people. After a pleasant journey, we will arrive and check in at Mweya Safari Lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park later in the day.
Come along for an early morning game drive and delve into the realm of the majestic Big Five animals. Keep your eyes peeled for sightings of crocodiles, antelopes, topi, kobs, warthogs, leopards, hyenas, and mongooses. Don't miss the opportunity to observe the diverse birdlife, including African eagles and flamingoes. Following our morning meal, we'll set out on our journey to Lake Mburo, enjoying lunch en route. Renowned for its zebras and breathtaking vistas, this park offers abundant opportunities to observe wildlife. Upon arrival at the park, we'll proceed to check into our accommodations.
Join us as we embark bright and early after breakfast to discover the magnificent wildlife thriving in this park. Amidst the lush and expansive Savannah plains, witness zebras roaming and grazing, relishing the nourishing salts present in the soil, essential to their diet. Following a delightful lunch, immerse yourself in a playful forest excursion, uncovering the hidden secrets held within this diminutive yet captivating park.
At the break of dawn, embark on an exhilarating horseback game drive, immersing yourself in the diverse wildlife of the reserve, boasting over 350 bird species! Keep a keen eye out for the African Grey Hornbill, Crested Cranes, Crested Francolin, Pigeons, the exceptionally rare Shoebill, Saddle-bill Storks, and the Harrier Hawk - ensuring an enthralling adventure awaits! Following lunch in the afternoon, board a boat cruise at Mihingo Lodge. Glide across Lake Mburo and marvel at the varied flora and fauna lining the lake's shores. Early in the morning, we'll depart for Entebbe. Our journey includes a stop for lunch at Igogongo Cultural Center in Mbarara, followed by a visit to Mpigi, home to the iconic equator point. Here, you'll have the opportunity to take a break and explore the local African artifacts available for purchase. Afterward, we'll resume our journey to our final destination - Entebbe. This marks the end of our service.
