Minor changes to the accommodations and destinations of this tour can be requested, making it suitable for those travelling solo. Greetings and welcome to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport! Upon your arrival, a representative from Exodus Safaris will be there to extend a warm welcome. Once you've checked in to your pre-booked accommodations at Eka Hotel, you'll have the opportunity to explore a variety of activities in Nairobi, depending on the timing of your arrival.
Arriving at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, passengers have the option to utilize fast track service and receive assistance through passport control. Upon arrival, they are welcomed by their Exodus Safari team for a comprehensive safari briefing before heading to Chyulu Hills.
Upon reaching Campi ya Kanzi, lunch awaits the guests, followed by afternoon game drives in the lodge’s private 4WD vehicles across Kuku Group Ranch.
Adventurers have a variety of tailor-made experiences to choose from, including guided game walks, nature treks, bird watching, bush feasts or picnics, visits to Maasai cultural villages, horseback riding, children's safaris, and explorations of nearby conservation areas.
Guests can retire for the night at Campi ya Kanzi, enjoying both lunch and dinner on-site.
Following breakfast, guests will embark on a journey to explore Tsavo West National Park with a packed picnic lunch at hand. Within this vibrant ecosystem, visitors have the opportunity to observe a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, buffalo, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, and perhaps even a leopard. The lush Mzima Springs, nourished by underground water from the Chyulu Hills, provide an excellent vantage point to observe hippos in their natural habitats. After the day's adventures, guests can spend the night at Campi ya Kanzi Lodge, where meals for lunch, dinner, and breakfast are provided.
Following a hearty morning meal, take to the skies and return to Nairobi in just an hour by air. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted by Exodus Safaris' driver guide, kicking off a half-day tour of the capital city. Highlights of this excursion include visits to the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust (an elephant orphanage), the Giraffe Centre, and the Karen Blixen Museum.
Your lunch break awaits at the Karen Blixen Coffee Gardens Restaurant. Following lunch, the tour continues to Lake Elementaita Jacaranda, nestled within the Soysambu Conservancy and approximately two hours away from Nairobi.
Indulge in a late afternoon game drive within the Soysambu Conservancy, and spend the night at Lake Elementaita Jacaranda with meals provided.
Following breakfast, embark on a journey to Lake Nakuru National Park for a morning safari, before returning to the lodge. Nestled among golden-barked acacia trees, the Lodge offers stunning views of the shimmering Lake Elementaita.
Onsite, lunch is served, providing visitors with the perfect opportunity to engage in various activities, including guided bird walks led by experienced local naturalists, afternoon game drives at Soysambu Conservancy, sunset observation points, and night safaris.
Guests will spend the night at the Jacaranda Lodge on Lake Elementaita, where a comprehensive meal plan inclusive of lunch, dinner, and breakfast awaits.
After indulging in a morning feast, visitors can savor a final glimpse of Laikipia before embarking on a scenic drive towards Lewa Wildlife Conservancy.
Upon arrival, they will be greeted by breathtaking views of Mount Kenya to the east. Encompassing 93,000 acres, this Conservancy is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, boasting lions, buffalo, rhinos, and unique species such as reticulated giraffes, gerenuk antelopes, and the rare Grevy zebra. Following a day immersed in the conservancy, guests can retire to the comfort of Lewa Safari camp, featuring spacious tented bedrooms with verandas and cozy log fires in the sitting room.
The following day offers a plethora of activities, including morning and afternoon game drives. As night descends, visitors can return to the lodge for a sumptuous meal and a peaceful night's sleep before enjoying breakfast the next morning.
After enjoying a delightful breakfast, guests will be escorted to Lewa Airstrip to catch their flight to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Upon arrival, they are warmly greeted by the camp driver and their guide, who will accompany them to Cottar’s 1920s Safari Camp.
Situated adjacent to the renowned Masai Mara, one of Africa's most extraordinary ecosystems, the camp offers unparalleled game viewing experiences.
In the evening, visitors can embark on a thrilling game drive before returning to the camp for dinner. Accommodations for the night are arranged at the camp, ensuring a restful and immersive experience in the heart of the wilderness.
Guests are offered the chance to engage in morning and afternoon safaris within the reserve and conservancy. For those seeking an exhilarating experience, a hot-air balloon ride culminating in a champagne breakfast awaits (weather permitting).
Additional activities available to guests comprise shared drives in a safari vehicle during both day and night, bush walks, canvas bush baths, and a captivating entertainment program designed for children. Overnight accommodations are provided at the camp, ensuring a memorable stay amidst the wilderness.
Following breakfast, guests are escorted to the airstrip for their air transfer back to Nairobi, where they will be greeted by a representative from Seven By Far.
Upon arrival, guests are escorted to the Carnivore Restaurant, where they can savor a farewell lunch before being transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for their departure.
