Exploring the African bush requires some planning. For those who wish to do so, a variety of transportation methods are available, including game drives in a pop-up roof 4x4 vehicle, boat trips, and nature hikes/walks with an armed guide. Air transfer to and from the airport is also included. All of these activities give visitors a chance to immerse themselves in the untamed beauty of the continent.
Our driver will collect you from your hotel and accompany you to Zanzibar International Airport for your flight to the Serengeti National Park's Seronera airstrip. There, you'll embark on a full-day game drive, exploring the park's diverse landmarks. Anticipate sightings of various animals and birds, including lions, elephants, zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, and cheetahs. Enjoy a picnic lunch and a leisurely afternoon break.
Following that, you can continue your game drive until dusk. Upon concluding the game drive, we'll transport you to Fanaka Safari Campsite and Lodge, where you'll dine, spend the night, and prepare for the next day's activities.
After enjoying your breakfast, your driver will be waiting at Seronera camp to take you to Ngorongoro Crater for an exciting game drive. You'll be provided with a packed lunch and have some leisure time before embarking on a sunset game drive. Once the tour concludes, you'll head back to the accommodation to savor dinner, unwind, and prepare for the adventures of the following day.
After breakfast at Fanaka, our chauffeur will pick you up and transfer you to Lake Manyara National Park for a thrilling game drive. You'll be provided with a packed lunch and have some leisure time in the afternoon before embarking on an evening game drive. Upon completion of the game drive, you'll return to Fanaka for dinner and overnight accommodation, getting ready for the adventures of the next day.
After breakfast, our driver will rendezvous with you to commence a game drive in Tarangire National Park. You'll receive a packed lunch and have the opportunity to unwind in the afternoon before continuing your game drive until dusk. Following the conclusion of the game drive, you'll be escorted back to the camp for dinner and to ready yourself for the activities planned for the next day.
Following your morning meal at Fanaka, our driver will collect you and transport you to Dodoma, the capital of Tanzania. Anticipate the journey to last approximately 7 hours, with lunch served en route. Upon arrival in Dodoma, you will have the choice to check in at a hotel for an overnight stay.
Start your day with breakfast before embarking on an unforgettable game drive through Ruaha National Park. A driver will be waiting to accompany you, ensuring you experience the park's wonders to the fullest. During the drive, you'll be provided with a packed lunch, allowing you to pause and savor the panoramic views in the afternoon light. As the sun begins to set, return to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge for dinner and a restful evening, preparing for the adventures of the following day.
Once you've enjoyed your breakfast, we'll coordinate a driver to pick you up for an exhilarating new game drive through Ruaha National Park. The routes selected will offer entirely fresh perspectives from the previous day's journey, ensuring an exciting experience. You'll be provided with a packed lunch, allowing you to take a break and rejuvenate during the afternoon.
As the sun sets, the evening game drive will conclude. Following this, you'll be chauffeured back to Ruaha Hilltop Lodge where you can unwind, enjoy dinner, and prepare for the adventures of the next day.
Following breakfast, your private chauffeur will be ready to escort you from Ruaha National Park to Morogoro. Upon arrival at the hotel, you will be provided with meals for both lunch and dinner. Situated approximately 200km from Tanzania's capital, Dar es Salaam, Morogoro is renowned for being one of the largest cities in the country.
Once you've completed your breakfast, you'll set off for Mikumi National Park for an entire day of wildlife exploration. Witness the marvels of the wilderness and encounter animals such as lions, elands, and buffalos up close. The park's main highlight is the expansive Mikumi floodplain that stretches along the mountain range's base. Indulge in lunch during the afternoon break before engaging in an evening game drive that lasts until nightfall. Afterward, unwind back at the camp, preparing yourself for the adventures of the following day.
Following breakfast, you'll head to Udzungwa Mountains National Park for a hiking adventure and waterfall exploration. Upon arrival, a briefing will orient you, and your trek through the mountainous forest will commence.
At the waterfall's summit, you'll behold the vast Kilombero Sugarcane Valley, home to one of Tanzania's largest sugarcane plantations. In the afternoon, a packed lunch will be provided for your enjoyment.
At dawn, we'll fetch you from your camp and transport you to Nyerere National Park. A delightful picnic lunch will be arranged for your trip, and en route, you'll have opportunities to engage in local activities at nearby establishments. As the day winds down, you'll reach Africa Safari Camp, where you can unwind and prepare for the adventures of the next day.
Following breakfast, you'll commence a comprehensive game drive in Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve), starting promptly at 07:30 am. Our seasoned drivers and guides will gather you at the Africa Safari Selous Lodge to embark on this adventure.
During your exploration, you'll have ample opportunities to observe diverse wildlife, including elephants, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes. Moreover, you'll have the chance to spot various bird species and marvel at stunning landscapes, such as wetlands, dry grasslands, light acacia forests, and elevated areas offering panoramic views of distant mountains.
After enjoying a packed lunch in the afternoon, you'll conclude the game drive and return to Africa Safari Selous Lodge for a hearty dinner and a peaceful night's rest.
Following your morning meal, prepare for an exhilarating full-day game drive commencing from Africa Safari Camp. Accompanied by seasoned drivers and guides, you'll have the opportunity to encounter majestic animals such as elephants, zebras, giraffes, and antelopes, amidst breathtaking landscapes showcasing diverse topographies. These landscapes may encompass wetlands, arid grasslands, lightly forested areas of acacia, and elevated viewpoints offering expansive vistas of distant mountains.
If weather conditions permit, you'll have the chance to visit a hot spring for a refreshing swim along your journey. A packed lunch will be provided, allowing you time to rejuvenate in the afternoon before resuming the game drive. As dusk descends, return to the safari camp for a sumptuous dinner and a restful night's sleep, eagerly anticipating the adventures of the next day.
Begin your day with a refreshing cup of morning tea before embarking on an exhilarating bushman walking tour in the forest, led by our knowledgeable Bushman guide and accompanied by an armed ranger for safety. Later, immerse yourself in the wonders of nature with a boat safari along the Rufiji River, Tanzania's longest river, stretching approximately 600km (370 miles) from southwestern Tanzania to the Indian Ocean.
As you traverse the river's meandering path, you'll be captivated by the diverse wildlife, including crocodiles, hippos, and a myriad of bird species, set against the backdrop of magnificent river cliffs. Following the boat safari, return to Africa Safari Camp for a delectable lunch before departing for Zanzibar via a 4:00pm flight.
