At 7:30 in the morning, visitors to Kasane Botswana are transported from their lodgings and directed through immigration procedures. A short explanation of safety measures and regional knowledge is provided afterwards.
At 9:30, travelers will begin on the boat journey into the Chobe National Park. The boat voyage is a standout amongst the most compelling encounters of the outing, with stunning birdlife, hippos, crocodiles, bunches of elephants and Cape bison serenely making their way towards the river for a much needed refresher. The boat ride reaches completion at 12:30 pm at the Coffee Buzz Restaurant.
Guests have the option of doing some last minute shopping as there are no stores within the park. A game drive occurs in the afternoon with an ideal opportunity to see Chobe's huge vegetarians traveling down to the river's edge for a drink.
At dawn, guests arise to the invigorating sound of warm water cascading into their basins and the cheerful greeting of Botswana's "dumela" (good day). Following a light cup of tea or coffee and a continental breakfast, safari vehicles embark on an early morning game drive.
This time of day offers prime opportunities to spot the majestic large cats and elusive wild dogs, as they remain active and easily observable. By late morning, guests return to camp to relish in a hearty bush brunch, while also enjoying moments of relaxation, reading, and refreshing showers.
As the day transitions into cooler temperatures, another exhilarating afternoon game drive commences. By mid-morning, guests are welcomed back to camp to indulge in a hearty "bush brunch" and enjoy a refreshing shower. Afterward, prepare for the final activity, which could likely be another scenic boat cruise. At 4:30 pm, guests will be dropped off at Kasane or Kazungula for transfer back to Victoria Falls.
