You'll arrive in Kigali on an evening RwandAir vessel from Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will enjoy meet & assist, including luggage handling, immigration support, and access to the VIP lounge. You will be transferred by our driver-guide to Kigali Serena Hotel for check-in, where you can unwind after your journey. You'll enjoy a relaxed evening before dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will embark on a guided city tour, starting with the Kigali Genocide Memorial, a moving tribute to Rwanda’s past. You will continue to Niyo Art Gallery, showcasing local talent and cultural heritage. You'll enjoy lunch at Khana Khazana, a top-rated Indian restaurant in Kigali.

In the afternoon, you will depart for Volcanoes National Park, passing through Rwanda’s stunning highland landscapes. You'll arrive at Five Volcanoes Boutique Hotel for check-in, followed by an evening at leisure.

You'll start early with breakfast before heading to the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla trekking etiquette. You will drive to the trailhead and begin your once-in-a-lifetime trek, navigating lush, misty forests in search of a mountain gorilla family. You'll spend an unforgettable hour observing these majestic primates before returning to the hotel for lunch and a well-earned rest.

In the afternoon, you will visit the Ellen DeGeneres Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, an immersive museum experience dedicated to gorilla conservation. You'll return to the lodge for a fireside evening and overnight stay.
