Our professional safari guide will pick you up from your Kigali hotel and take you to the poignant Kigali Genocide Memorial, where you'll pay respects to the victims of the 1994 genocide. Then, you'll embark on a scenic 2.5-hour drive through Rwanda's lush hills and market towns to Volcanoes National Park, famous for Dian Fossey's groundbreaking gorilla research. You'll enjoy an overnight stay at your pre-booked lodge, nestled near the park's majestic mountains.

You'll start the day with breakfast. Then, you'll head to Kinigi Park headquarters for a golden monkey trek briefing. You'll hike to go into the rainforest to track a troop of golden monkeys and spend an hour observing them. After this thrilling experience, you'll transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and relax at your pre-booked lodge for the night.

After breakfast, you'll attend a Uganda Gorilla Trekking briefing at the ranger station, covering essential guidelines for interacting with gorillas. Accompanied by a senior ranger guide, you'll hike into the forest to track and observe these majestic creatures up close for an hour. Following the unforgettable experience, you'll transfer to serene Lake Bunyonyi and enjoy an overnight stay at your lodge.
