Exploring urban Africa and its blend of contemporary and traditional facets, we begin our journey at the Karen Blixen Museum, the former residence of the Danish author Baroness Karen von Blixen-Finecke, renowned for her work "Out of Africa" in 1937. Our next stop is the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where we witness the nurturing of baby elephants and rhinos, preparing them for reintroduction into the wild at Tsavo East National Park. Here, we observe these animals being bottle-fed and enjoying supervised mud baths at the orphanage. Continuing our exploration, we visit the Giraffe Centre to encounter the endangered Rothschild Giraffes. Supported by the African Fund for Endangered Wildlife, this project focuses on giraffe breeding and hosts a youth conservation education program. Following a replenishing hot lunch at the hotel, we embark on the inaugural leg of our Kenya & Tanzania Safari, covering a 240-kilometer journey south to reach Amboseli National Park.
