During the dry season (June-Sept), the Tarangire River is an oasis for animals migrating from miles around. Round off the day with a delicious dinner at Gibb's Farm, available from June through October.

The park is renowned for its incredible wildlife, boasting plentiful populations of lions and leopards. The name 'Serengeti' itself comes from the Maasai word 'sirinetu' meaning 'endless plains'. Let's take a journey back to the Serengeti, one of the oldest ecosystems on our planet. During a full day of game drives, you'll observe an amazing variety of terrain including expansive plains and wooded hills, as well as towering termite mounds and breathtaking kopjes. You may spot Acacia trees alongside meandering rivers, and depending upon the time of year, you'll have the chance to see the Wildebeest Migration (Dec-July) or large numbers of predators (June-Oct).
