While in Mikumi NP, you'll have the opportunity to witness a diverse array of wildlife, including majestic African elephants, lions, wild dogs, zebras, giraffes, impalas, hyenas, buffaloes, wildebeests, elands, hartebeests, crocodiles, lizards, and more. Moreover, the park is home to over 300 species of birds. Following your exhilarating game drive, we will depart from the park and make our way to Camp Bastian lodge for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay.

Delight in a satisfying lunch within the park premises before departing in the afternoon, making your way to Camp Bastian Lodge for an evening of relaxation and a delicious dinner. To secure your spot at the lodge, ensure you book well in advance, as it tends to fill up quickly. However, rest assured that alternative accommodation options are available to accommodate your needs, with any associated adjustments to the cost duly considered.
Commencing your journey back to Dar-es-Salaam, we have arranged a cultural visit to a Maasai village in Mikumi as part of the itinerary. However, for travelers with time constraints, participation in this experience is optional. We kindly ask that you inform us during the booking process if you prefer not to partake in this excursion. Furthermore, at the local women's market, you'll have the opportunity to delve into the traditions of the indigenous tribes of Tanzania and Kenya, gaining valuable insights along the way.
