2-Day Eswatini Tour

Your tour GUIDE will pick you up at your hotel in Mbabane, transfer you to Mantenga Cultural Village and then head off to Nelungwe Green Forest. Here, you'll visit the beautiful Mantenga Waterfall and witness the traditional way of life in a Swazi village. At Mantenga, you'll enjoy one of the most well-executed performances of African song and dance in Africa. Swazi young people have deep knowledge of their customs.

After your visit to Mantenga, you'll travel to Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary. Staying here means you are in a thatched Swazi hut where you have your private bathroom attached, while still enjoying the great traditional vibes. The kitchen is outside with a view of the dam. You'll see crocodiles and hippos with birds close by. You'll sit around the campfire after dinner with local warthogs who love the warmth of the fire on their round tummies! Mlilwane offers the chance to go horse riding and mountain biking if you wish.

This morning, you'll enjoy a range of activities such as mountain biking and horse riding. Participation in these exercises is up to you and is not included. No predatory animals are found in the reserve.
After breakfast, you will visit the Ngwenya hand-blown Glass factory and then descend into the valley of the Magugu Dam, Swaziland's biggest and essential to its economy.

Our route continues through the world's oldest mountain range, the Greenstone Belt Mountains, also known as the Makhonjwa Mountains which are over 3.6 billion years old. On the Barberton Makhonjwa Geotrail, you visit places that take you right back to the beginnings of existence, more than 3 billion years ago.

The spectacular mountain pass has become a component of the Barberton Makhonjwa Geotrail. Combining the portfolio of twelve lay-bys with earth features, rocks and interpretative signs, the project shows how the early earth began to take shape around 3.6 billion years ago. You can leave your car at a place you pick.
