2-Day Pilanesberg Luxury Safari and Elephant Experience

An early pick-up is required this morning. You will travel to the Elephant Sanctuary to join their interaction Program. Guides will give information and insight into African elephants. You will be introduced to our elephants where you can touch and interact with them.
You will then travel to the Pilanesberg National Park. On arrival, lunch is enjoyed at Bakabung Bush Lodge. You will then have some leisure time before joining the late afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle. You will get the real feel for the African bush on this game drive and experience the Big Five territory of the Pilanesberg. Dinner will be enjoyed at the lodge on completion of the open vehicle game drive.

An early wake-up call signals the start of yet another exciting day in Big Five territory. You will depart on an early morning safari after which you return to the lodge for a late breakfast. After breakfast, your Mmilo guide will collect you at Bakubung Bush Lodge for an extended game drive into the Pilanesberg National Park. Our experienced guides venture a little further into the reserve and stop at more of the protected viewing spots, than the lodge’s vehicle. So, you get to connect better with the sounds, sights, and smells of the pristine bush. An experience you will long remember! Lunch will be enjoyed before you can be returned to Johannesburg and dropped off at the location of your choice airport or hotel. Alternatively, an optional trip is to travel to the Cheetah Centre for the two-hour cheetah and wild dog guided tour. The Ann Van Dyk Centre is devoted to restoring both these and other animals in areas where they have become extinct or threatened.
