4-Day Tanzania Private Lodge Safari Tour

This tour begins early in the morning at 7:30 am, picking clients from a agreed drop off point in Arusha town and drive to Tarangire National Park. It will take about 2.5 hours to drive to the gate of the park. After paying the entry fee, there is a gate where you have to register before entering the park.

Tarangire National Park in Tanzania is referred to as the land of baobab trees and is home to large herds of elephants. It has over 500 bird species… our evening meal shall be followed by a night at Country Lodge Karatu.

Main Destination: Tarangire National Park

The best time to visit: It is during the dry season which is between July and November because the animals go to the Tarangire River.

High Season: June – October (This is the busiest times of the year, the park is crowded with people).

In the morning, we shall proceed with the journey from the Country Lodge to Serengeti National Park passing through the Ngorongoro Conservation area. It approximately takes about 4- 5 hours’ drive from the country lodge to the Serengeti gate. There are some little pauses with the Ngorongoro viewpoint and the Olduvay Gorge. Upon arrival in this park, we will have a half day game drive until evening. You will then proceed to Thorn Tree Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Ideal climate: January-February and June-October (Although different regions have the best weather at different months)

Tourist season: The highlighted area of Serengeti is most popular from July to March.

In the morning, either after or before breakfast in accordance to agreed time with your guide, we go for an early morning game drive till lunch time. The day follows with game drives as we head for the Ngorongoro Area for dinner and an overnight stay at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.

• Mostly found inside the Serengeti ecosystem to Ngorongoro Crater that is the large volcanic caldera which stands 6,500 ft. above sea level

In the morning after having our early breakfast, we take a half day game drive in the crater from Rhino Lodge. The Ngorongoro Crater is among the best destinations to view wildlife in Africa. This place is a haven of some of the biggest populations of the major safari animals. The view of the endangered black rhinos, the resident population is especially fascinating to see, as these animals are not the easiest to come across. The crater also hosts some of the massive elephant bulls with large tusks. A large flock of flamingos will be seen in Lake Magadi.

At around 12 pm, we will drive to the place agreed to have our lunch before then carrying on with the journey to Arusha where we will be dumped at the agreed point.

Climate: The best time to visit this park is between June and October because there is virtually no rainfall at this time.
