Today unfolds an adventure in one of Africa's most remarkable game parks, Masai Mara. Here, an array of animals, varying in shapes and sizes, from hippos and crocodiles to elegant gazelles, roam freely.

You'll also have the chance to soar above the reserve in a hot air balloon ride (additional fee required), offering a unique perspective of the park and its wildlife inhabitants.

Masai Mara forms a vital part of the expansive Serengeti ecosystem, alongside the neighboring Serengeti National Park in Tanzania. This ecosystem hosts the awe-inspiring wildebeest migration known as The Great Migration. Each year, millions of wildebeests, zebras, and other grazers traverse the plains, braving crocodile-infested rivers in search of new grazing pastures. Naturally, the abundance of prey lures not only hungry crocodiles but also predators.

Conclude your day by unwinding in a luxurious tented camp nestled near Masai Mara. These tents boast fully equipped en-suite bathrooms, cozy beds, and verandahs where you can immerse yourself in nature and stargaze under the African sky.

The third day commences with a hearty breakfast before we embark on our final game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve, aiming to spot wildlife that may have eluded us the previous day.

Departing from the acacia-dotted terrain, we journey northeast towards the Great Rift Valley, heading to our next destination, Lake Nakuru National Park. Our journey is accompanied by packed lunches, ensuring an enjoyable experience as we arrive just in time for an afternoon game drive.

Originally established as a bird sanctuary, Lake Nakuru National Park was later designated as a national park to safeguard the endangered black and white rhinos residing here. The park also shelters a variety of other wildlife, including hippos, zebras, buffalos, waterbucks, baboons, and Rothschild's giraffes.

Visitors should remain mindful of the presence of lions, leopards, and pythons. Additionally, the park is a haven for birdwatchers, boasting a plethora of migratory and endemic birds, particularly water birds like pelicans and flamingos.

Our overnight stay awaits at a comfortable lodge nestled inside Lake Nakuru Park, featuring charming gardens, a refreshing swimming pool, and breathtaking views of the lake and wilderness. All meals are thoughtfully included in the package, ensuring a seamless and memorable experience.

Day four of the Masai Mara & Serengeti Lodge Safari begins with guests indulging in a delightful breakfast before embarking on a journey towards the Kenya-Tanzania border. As we traverse the Maasai lands once more, the landscape transitions from rolling hills to the iconic Amboseli National Park, celebrated for its breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro.

This remarkable national park is renowned for its diverse terrain, ranging from parched grasslands to lush swamplands, sustained by the melting snow from the majestic mountain.

En route, we will pause for a delightful picnic before arriving at this premier Kenyan game reserve for an exhilarating afternoon of game viewing. The park teems with wild animals, providing ample opportunities to capture stunning wildlife photographs.

Following our adventure, we proceed to Kibo Safari Camp, where refreshing drinks and a delicious dinner await, offering the perfect end to another remarkable day on safari. Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner.

Another early start marks the commencement of our safari adventure in northern Tanzania. Departing from Kenya at the Namanga crossing, we embark on a southward journey, traversing through the town of Arusha en route to Lake Manyara National Park.

Nestled along the western fringe of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, this picturesque wildlife sanctuary is anchored by Lake Manyara, a soda lake renowned for its diverse birdlife. Keep your eyes peeled for the majestic sight of migrating flamingoes gracing the shores!

Upon arrival at the Nysa Lodge or equivalent accommodation, unwind and settle in for an evening of relaxation, with meals provided throughout the day.

Rise and shine to kick-start your morning with an exhilarating game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Here, keep a keen eye out for the famed tree-climbing lions, often found lounging lazily in the treetops reminiscent of leopards.

If you're fortunate enough to witness the pink-hued flamingoes gracing the shores, their vast flocks create a mesmerizing spectacle - although the birdlife thrives here throughout the year. Lake Manyara is also home to sizable baboon troops, among the largest in Africa.

Expect sightings of giraffes, warthogs, buffalos, elephants, wildebeests, zebras, various antelope species, hippos, crocodiles, and monkeys during your exploration. Our next destination is the renowned Serengeti National Park, the southern neighbor of Masai Mara.

As we approach Ikoma Safari Camp (or similar), marvel at the expansive open savannahs that epitomize the untamed African wilderness.

This morning, we embark on an enthralling game drive to discover the expansive 14,736 km² African wildlife sanctuary. Surrounded by endless open grasslands, Tanzania's wilderness presents a mesmerizing spectacle of the struggle for survival.

Annually, the Great Migration sweeps across these plains, with millions of wildebeests stampeding in search of fresh vegetation. Accompanying them are Grant's gazelles, zebras, and other antelopes, along with giraffes, warthogs, and more.

Naturally, this massive movement of prey attracts a plethora of predators including lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, jackals, and foxes. Even in the absence of the migration, Serengeti Park offers abundant natural habitat, promising excellent wildlife sightings.

The day concludes with dinner and a tranquil evening at Ikoma Camp (or similar) near Serengeti Park. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all included.

Following breakfast, our journey takes us southeast towards the world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater. This colossal, intact volcanic crater descends 600 meters, offering breathtaking vistas of its wildlife-rich plains.

Spending the day in this expansive 8,300 km² conservation area, we encounter a diverse array of African wildlife, excluding giraffes. Packed lunches accompany us from the lodge to enjoy amidst the crater's splendor, celebrated as one of the seven natural wonders of the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Following memorable wildlife encounters, we ascend the crater walls, marveling at the stunning panoramas surrounding us. Our accommodation choice for the night is Ngorongoro Forest Tented Lodge (or similar), where meals including breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided.

As we embark on the final day of our East African tour, we'll enjoy our breakfast while eagerly anticipating the last leg of our journey. Our destination is Arusha, and we anticipate arriving shortly after noon.

Upon arrival, you have the option to conclude your safari experience, or alternatively, you may opt to join the shuttle bus heading north to Nairobi. Later in the evening, around 6 PM, we'll reach Nairobi. From there, arrangements will be made for your transfer to the airport for your onward travels.
