Continue your journey with a hike through the ancient forests of Budongo, home to a thriving population of chimpanzees. Led by experienced guides, venture deep into the heart of the forest in search of these fascinating primates, whose playful antics and complex social behaviors never fail to captivate and inspire.
Next, head to Fort Portal, where you'll have the opportunity to explore the lush landscapes of Kibale National Park. Known as the "Primate Capital of the World," Kibale is home to an incredible diversity of primate species, including the rare and elusive mountain gorillas. Embark on guided treks through the forest, keeping your eyes peeled for sightings of chimpanzees, colobus monkeys, and more.
After exploring the wonders of Uganda, cross the border into Rwanda, where you'll be greeted by the stunning beauty of Lake Mburo. Nestled amidst rolling hills and verdant forests, this tranquil lake is a haven for birdwatchers and nature lovers alike. Take a leisurely boat ride across the lake, soaking in the breathtaking scenery and spotting an array of bird species along the way.
Finally, no trip to Rwanda would be complete without a visit to the awe-inspiring Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to one of the last remaining populations of mountain gorillas in the world. Join experienced trackers as they lead you through the dense jungle in search of these majestic creatures, whose gentle nature and human-like expressions will leave a lasting impression.

Enjoy a delightful start to your day with an early breakfast, followed by a journey to Murchison Falls National Park. After taking either Kawempe and Luwero or Hoima Road, you can make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to catch a glimpse of Rhinos. Continuing through Budongo Forest, look out for primate sightings, including Chimpanzees, Red-Tailed Monkeys, Bush Babies and Black and White Colobus Monkeys. Delight in a tasty lunch before reaching the top of the magnificent Murchison falls, where the impressive Nile river surges through a seven meter gorge and drops 43 meters below.

Murchison Falls National Park is home to more than 76 different species of mammals, including lions, giraffes, elephants, leopards, and buffaloes. Many visitors also regularly observe the spotted hyena. In addition, the park boasts over 450 species of birds, such as water birds, raptors, and the iconic Shoebill Stork. As you explore, you might get the chance to witness some amazing wildlife interactions, like snakes being preyed upon by birds, Nile crocodiles and Savannah Monitors. At the end of your adventure, head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Rise and shine! Begin your morning with a warm mug of your favorite tea or coffee, and start the game drive to witness the sunrise. Keep a lookout and you'll encounter some of the most beautiful wildlife species the African savannah has to offer, like buffalo, oribi, elephants, hyenas, Rothschild giraffe, lions, kobs and waterbucks, plus a variety of birds. Once you've had your fill of the great outdoors, head back to your lodge to rest until lunchtime.
Spend the afternoon sailing up the Victoria Nile in your own private boat. On the journey of three hours, you'll have the chance to observe Nile crocodiles, hippopotami, buffaloes, elephants and a wide variety of bird species. When the excursion is over, it's time to go back to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Wake up and enjoy a hearty meal to start off your day! Then make your way to Kanio Papidi; here you will receive an overview of your itinerary for the day: Chimpanzee Trekking. Take a stroll through Budongo forest and see many rare bird species like Puvel’s Illadopsis, Chocolate-Backed Kingfisher, and White-Thigh Hornbill, which are only native to East Africa. Afterwards, explore Hoima and its inhabitants, then return to your lodgings for dinner and a restful night's sleep.

After your morning meal, take a scenic drive to Fort Portal for a tour of the city. During your visit, you will have the opportunity to explore Amabere Ganyinamwiru, an area composed of limestone and various kinds of stalagmites and stalactites which are often referred to as the "Breasts of Nyinamwiru," the ancestress of the first Bachwezi King. Additionally, during your excursion, you may observe some of the crater lakes present in the vicinity. Afterward, you can rest and get ready to continue your adventure!

After you complete your breakfast, the next stop will be the headquarters of Kibale National Park for a briefing about chimpanzee trekking. Then, you will venture into the forest to spot these amazing creatures. As you search around, you'll notice other primates, including Black & White Colobus Monkeys and L’Hoest. Witness the chimpanzees as they hustle from one branch to another, eating their fruits along the way. When it's time for lunch, you'll head back to the lodge for a meal before taking an evening stroll in the swamp. Experience the beauty of Uganda's natural diversity, then retire back at the lodge for the night.
Set out for a day of adventure at Queen Elizabeth National Park, home to a wide variety of wildlife. Hippos, kobs, buffaloes, elephants, and many types of birds can be found in the park. Take a stroll around Lake Katwe, well-known for its salt-mining activities. Enjoy lunch at your lodge before embarking on a boat cruise along Kazinga Channel to spot hippos, crocodiles, and different water birds. When the day comes to an end, return to the lodge to have dinner and a restful night of sleep.

Start your day off right with a game drive through the Albertine Rift Valley to spot the early risers like lions, hippos, water bucks, buffaloes and warthogs as well as a wide range of birds. Experience the unique beauty of the open savannah, rain forests and swamps! Later, return to your lodge for a late breakfast. After lunch, embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel to observe assorted water birds, buffaloes and elephants. End your evening with a delicious dinner followed by a tranquil night's sleep in your lodge.

After a nutritious breakfast, travel to picturesque Lake Bunyonyi for a tasty lunch. Afterwards, enjoy the tranquil experience of canoeing across the second deepest lake in Africa and admire the stunning view of the 24 small islands. While rowing, you may be lucky enough to spot some of the diverse species of birds that inhabit the area, such as cranes, black rumped buttonquail, cattel egrets and pink-backed pelican. Additionally, this lake is one of the few bilharzia-free lakes in the world, so feel free to take a refreshing swim! After an eventful afternoon, end the day with dinner and a restful sleep at Bunyonyi View Resort.

After fueling up for the day, set out with a sack lunch for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for an informational talk delivered by park officials regarding gorilla tracking. Once in the woods, begin the quest to find the lovely giants of the rainforest!
Explore the fascinating world of mountain gorillas in their natural habitats of Uganda, Congo and Rwanda. Witness the majestic Silverbacks leading their families through the lush forests. There are only 720 mountain gorillas in existence, making them one of the rarest of prehistoric mammals. Guided tours offer a unique experience to observe the gorillas up close. Prepare for an unpredictable 2-8 hour tracking process to spot these incredible creatures before you get the chance to take photos and watch them play and feed for one hour.
At the end of the day, you can relax near Lake Bunyonyi and reflect on this amazing experience.

After your morning meal, embark upon an exciting journey to Rwanda via Kabale. Experience the breathtaking scenery of surrounding hills and venture on a captivating tour of Kigali. Visit the Genocide Memorial Centre to gain knowledge about the heartbreaking genocide in Rwanda. Get acquainted with Rwandan culture and later spend some tranquil moments in your lodge.

After a morning meal, head to Lake Mburo National Park and witness an abundance of impalas and zebras. Also featured in the park are Ugandan kobs, antelopes, impalas, dickers and bushbucks. Visit the salt licks and observe the variety of animals gathering to consume the minerals at this special place. When night falls, retreat to your accommodation to eat and rest.

After your morning meal, journey toward Kampala and take the opportunity to view wildlife along the way. Make a stop at the equator and snap some photographs.
