Go on an affordable tour with the chance to explore mountain huts and campgrounds. With departures on set dates, you can join a group of other like-minded travelers of up to 40 people per vehicle. Although the tour is fixed, minor adjustments to the accommodation and destinations can be made. Great for single travelers too, this journey only requires a minimum of 15 participants to run. Please note that the minimum age requirement to join is 14 years of age.
Upon your arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, your Exodus Safaris representative will greet you and accompany you to the transfer vehicle.

You'll be mesmerized as the baby elephants eagerly gather around the handlers for their nourishing meal, served in oversized baby bottles! After their feeding session, the calves joyfully retreat into the wilderness to engage in playful activities like rolling in mud and playing with a soccer ball.

We commence our trek bright and early, embarking at 04:30 and ascending along the rope-lined path toward the peak. The terrain here demands caution due to its precarious nature. Witnessing the sunrise over the Chogoria Route to the east is a truly spectacular experience. The final leg to the summit involves navigating a via ferrata, the highest of its kind globally. This secure route, equipped with ropes, provides novice climbers with a smoother ascent. Upon reaching the summit, capture a few photos and take a moment to savor the panoramic view. Subsequently, descend westward via the Sirimon Trail and indulge in breakfast at Shipton’s Camp. Later, continue your descent to Old Moses Camp, where you can unwind and spend the night.
Prepare your belongings before departure. We'll transfer you from Old Moses Camp back to Mount Kenya National Park, then proceed to Nairobi.
We'll make a rest stop along the way for lunch. Upon reaching Nairobi, you'll have the opportunity to check in, enjoy dinner, and spend the night.
