Upon your arrival at Dar es Salaam International Airport, you will be greeted by a driver bearing a page board with your name prominently visible. After clearing customs and passport control, you can then step out of the terminal to meet them. From there, you can enjoy the tastes of Swahili Cuisine, have dinner and spend the night at the Dar es Salaam City Hotel.
You will be transported from your hotel to Dar es Salaam Airport, where you will board a flight to Kigoma with Air Tanzania. On arrival, you will be greeted by your driver guide. This beautiful nature reserve houses a numerous amount of hippos and vibrant birdlife. Once you've arrived, spend the evening taking in the sights of the park or have dinner, before spending the night there.

Today is the perfect day for a Ruaha safari! Unique and unexplored ecosystems make this park, the second largest park in Tanzania, a truly special destination for wildlife spotting. It is also home to the Greater Kudu, a species which can only be found here. After a long day of game driving, cozy up in the Ruaha Hilltop Lodge or similar accommodations for dinner and an unforgettable overnight stay.
After breakfast, you will set off on an all-day game drive through Ruaha. This park, almost as large as the Serengeti and filled with unspoiled beauty, is a place of great excitement. With its 350 different species of birds, Ruaha is a true paradise for birdwatchers. Along the Great Ruaha River, many animals can be observed, such as waterbuck, impala and Grant's gazelle. Lions, leopards, jackals, hyenas and African wild dogs use this river as their permanent hunting ground. After you've had your morning meal, you're off for a game drive in Ruaha. Along the way to the exit, you'll be stopping at some local eateries in Iringa for a hot lunch. As you move further along, you'll pass through farms, valleys, and villages with picturesque sights, including the magnificent views of The Great Rift Valley. Your late afternoon will be spent on a game drive in Mikumi National Park, where you have the chance to spot Elephants, Giraffes, Lions, Leopards, Jackals, and Hyenas. After a day of exciting wildlife spotting, you'll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay in Mikumi.
Wake up to a leisurely breakfast, for today, you won't be in a rush. Embark on a full day game drive in Mikumi and enjoy a picnic lunch in the park. Uniquely, Mikumi is home to Giraffes that some naturalists believe to be a hybrid of reticulated and Maasai Giraffes. Other animals such as lions, elephants, buffalo, wildebeest, and leopards can also be spotted in this park. You'll also venture to the hippo pool to witness hippopotamuses in their natural habitat. Watch as elephants come to drink water from the nearby waterhole and observe the wildlife around you until sunset. Finish the day by having dinner and lodging in Mikumi.
After taking breakfast, you will be heading back to Dar es Salaam international airport to begin your journey back home. Make sure to enjoy a farewell dinner near the airport before taking off on your international flight. If necessary, transportation can be arranged from Mikumi to Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar.
