This tour offers lodges as accommodation, and is meant only for private groups. It can be tailored to your specifications and start any day, provided availability permits. Unfortunately, it is not suitable for solo travelers. Additionally, the minimum age is 5 years old.
In the morning, a designated pickup will be arranged from your hotel or the airport in Dar es Salaam. Following a briefing around 8:00 am, your safari adventure commences with a scenic 5-6 hour drive to the Selous Game Reserve.
During the journey, a stop for lunch will be arranged, and you are expected to arrive in the afternoon. To optimize your evening, a boat drive is scheduled in Selous, promising an enriching experience with the reserve's diverse wildlife. Conclude your day with a delightful dinner and an overnight stay at the African Safari Camp.
Rise with the sun and embark on an early morning of exhilarating game drives within the game reserve! Keep your senses alert for sightings of majestic lions, towering elephants, graceful giraffes, imposing buffaloes, striped zebras, elusive hunting dogs, and vibrant exotic birds.
Following a satisfying lunch, continue your exploration with another thrilling tour of game drives until the evening. Ensure to complete your day with an overnight stay at an authentic African Safari Camp, immersing yourself fully in the rich experience of the wilderness!
Following your morning meal, set off on an adventure to the Mikumi National Park. Although the journey spans 6-7 hours, the sight of numerous bird species, zebra, and elephants in the wildlife will make it worthwhile. Indulge in a leisurely picnic lunch amidst the beauty of the park during the day, then conclude with a delightful dinner and spend the night at Camp Bastian Mikumi for a serene and memorable experience.
Prepare yourself for an incredible game drive in the park following a satisfying breakfast. Your adventure will be complemented by a delightful picnic lunch, adding to the extraordinary experience. Exploring Mikumi National Park offers a chance to encounter a diverse array of bird species, along with sightings of zebras, hippos, hartebeest, wildebeest, impalas, warthogs, eland antelopes, giraffes, buffalo, and elephants roaming freely in their natural habitat. As the day of exploration winds down, return to your overnight accommodation at Bastian Camp, reflecting on the wonders of the day.
Following a delightful morning meal, seize the opportunity to immerse yourself in the Maasai village experience for a duration of two hours. Afterwards, prepare to embark on your return journey to Dar es Salaam, where you will continue your stay or catch your flight. With this, our tour comes to a close.
