We will pick you up from your accommodation between 7:30 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. to start our journey south towards Sossusvlei, with the picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass along the route.
During our stop-over, you'll have the opportunity to marvel at the breathtaking vistas of the Namib Desert.
After enjoying lunch at the Solitaire oasis, we'll arrive at your lodge or camp around 3-4 p.m. Considering the midday heat, you may opt to cool off in the pool. To fully embrace the excursion, it's recommended to retire early as we'll be rising early the following morning.
As the first light of dawn illuminates the landscape, we embark on our journey to the magnificent Sesriem Gate, gateway to Sossusvlei. Our adventure commences with an ascent of the awe-inspiring Dune 45, offering panoramic views of the surrounding orange-hued terrain. We then venture off-road to Dead Vlei, where ancient acacias stand in a vast and timeless gallery.
For the adventurous spirits, there's an opportunity to conquer the towering Big Daddy or Big Mama, two of the tallest sand dunes on the planet. Following the morning's exhilarating activities, we return to Sesriem for a leisurely lunch break of approximately 1-2 hours.
As the day cools, our journey leads us to our final destination - the remarkable Sesriem Canyon.
Following breakfast, we commence our trip to Windhoek, traversing the picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass along the way. Our journey includes a stop at Solitaire before reaching Windhoek around midday. Upon arrival, I will drop you off at your chosen hotel or lodge. Wishing you a pleasant day ahead and farewell!
