Explore this unique mid-range tour, perfect for private groups! There is flexibility with the start date, as availability permits, and customization options are available. Please note that this tour is not open to solo travelers, and the minimum age requirement is 5 years old.
Begin your day by taking off from the Lodge and embarking on a captivating journey to Tarangire National Park. Bring along your lunch boxes to keep your energy up throughout the day!
The park is well known for its large elephant herds and its ranges of natural landmarks, from seasonal wetlands to grassland fields with the Tarangire River snaking through.
While venturing around the park you might get lucky and spot a lion stalking his prey or a leopard surveilling from the trees above. When the game drive ends, make your way back to the lodge for a relaxing evening, dinner and overnight.
After you have had your breakfast, our guide will take you to Lake Eyasi. On arrival, you will join the Hadzabe tribe, famous for their hunting practices. Spend some time with them and observe their techniques.
After this, the Datoga tribe will be your next port of call. They specialize in blacksmith skills and will demonstrate the trade to you. Spend some time exploring Lake Eyasi and its surrounding villages, getting to know the local area.
Finally, you will return to the lodge for some well-earned peace and quiet, as well as dinner and an evening of rest.
Following breakfast, head out to the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive with lunch boxes packed. Inside, discover the biggest uninterrupted caldera in the world and one of the incredible wonders of Africa, complete with around 30,000 large animals living there year-round, including buffalos, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos.
You can also expect to find many different bird species, like flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Prepare to be amazed by all the wildlife you can witness during this short period of time. Once finished, you will be transferred to Arusha, where the safari ends.
