This mid-range tour uses lodges and is exclusively for you and your group, so no need to share with others. For added convenience, you can customize the tour to suit your preferences, however it is not suitable for solo travelers. We also require a minimum age of 15 years for this private tour, and if availability allows, it can start on any day.
In the morning, we'll depart from the airport, embarking on a southward journey through Kajiando County and Masai country, embracing the scenic drive leading to Amboseli. Along the route, the majestic Mt. Kilimanjaro will provide a breathtaking backdrop, offering ample opportunities to spot lions, elephants, leopards, rhinos, cheetahs, buffalos, and other fascinating game animals.
Following a picnic lunch, relish the opportunity to capture incredible postcard-worthy photographs of the magnificent landscape. As the day draws to a close, we'll head back to the hotel, concluding a day filled with sightings of numerous members of the big cat family.
Immerse yourself in the captivating wonders of Amboseli National Park throughout the day, indulging in both morning and afternoon game drives. Animal enthusiasts will revel in its paradise-like setting, encountering a diverse array of creatures such as giraffes, zebras, and cheetahs, alongside hundreds of native bird species.
Take a moment to visit the Maasai village and delve into the traditional culture and lifestyle of its inhabitants, available at an additional cost. As the evening approaches and the sun sets, watch as the clouds dissipate, revealing the awe-inspiring snow-capped dome of Mt. Kilimanjaro. Ascend Observation Hill to marvel at panoramic vistas of the peak and the surrounding plains and swamps. Conclude your exploration by heading westward to discover the vast expanse of Lake Amboseli.
Following breakfast, journey from Naivasha town to the southern shore of Lake Naivasha. Upon entering Hell's Gate National Park, be mesmerized by its striking landscape, characterized by sheer cliffs, grassy plains, and deep canyons. Opting for a boat ride across the lake offers an opportunity to observe the hippo colonies.
Explore an array of activities including walking, cycling, rock climbing, bird watching, and trekking through the gorge with geysers. Following a picnic lunch, depart from the park in the mid-afternoon and retreat to your lakeside accommodation for a relaxing hot shower and a refreshing cold beverage.
You will be picked up from your accommodation and transported to the magnificent Crater Lake Game Sanctuary, nestled between the picturesque Lake Naivasha and the Twin Longonot and Suswa Volcanoes. Adorned with acacias along its circumference, this quaint reserve offers numerous pathways, including one reserved for hillwalkers tracing the diminutive crater rim. Revered by the Maasai locals, the jade-green body of water is believed to possess therapeutic properties capable of healing their livestock.
In addition to the abundant birdlife in the area, giraffes, zebras, and other wildlife from the savannas are frequently sighted in the more open sections near the crater.
Following breakfast, you will proceed back to Nairobi to catch your next flight from the airport.
