A knowledgeable guide from Peak Cruise Safari will pick you up, offering a comprehensive overview of your five-day adventure. You'll traverse through quaint hamlets and the expansive grasslands of Nakasongola, with a potential stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here, you'll have the opportunity to observe the few surviving rhinos. Lunch will be provided as we journey towards Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, you'll check into the Pakuba Safari Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Wake up early to embark on your hot air balloon safari. You'll receive transportation to the takeoff point, where a hot beverage awaits while the balloon is prepared. The pilot will provide instructions as you board the balloon and begin your ascent above the landscape. Gliding through the sky, you'll marvel at views of wildlife, rivers, treetops, and the sunrise. Upon landing, you'll receive a souvenir certificate and enjoy a delectable bush gourmet breakfast. After refueling, return to the lodge for relaxation or optional activities. Following your morning meal, embark on a drive to Budongo Forest for another chimpanzee-searching excursion. Situated in the southernmost region of Murchison Falls National Park, this sanctuary boasts the highest density of wild chimpanzees in Uganda. Kaniyo Pabidi is home to several habituated groups of chimps. While exploring this remarkable natural habitat, you may also encounter other primates such as Blue, Red-tailed, and Vervet monkeys, along with Olive baboons. After completing your trek, return to the lodge for leisure time for the remainder of the day. Following dinner, settle in for the night.
Following your morning meal, prepare to leave the lodge and journey back to Entebbe. En route, indulge in a quick lunch at a local eatery before being dropped off at Entebbe International Airport. Ensure your flight home departs no later than 10 pm.
