Experience a tour with a small group of travelers! With a maximum of 6 people per vehicle, this shared tour is the ideal choice for single travelers. This tour cannot be customized and will start whenever availability permits. All participants must be 18 years and over. Enjoy luxury lodges and tented camps along the way for an unforgettable journey.
Arrange your own travels and book a flight to Jomo Kenyatta Airport (NBO) in Nairobi for the start of this journey. A transfer from the airport to the tour's beginning and back at the end is included in the price. Additional nights of accommodation before and after the tour can also be booked for an additional fee.
Your pick-up is scheduled from your accommodation at 8:00 in the morning. As we journey, we'll pass through the industrial town of Thika and traverse the meticulously cultivated farmlands of Central Kenya.
Lunch will be served at the Out Span Hotel in Nyeri during the day, followed by a transfer to the Treetops Hotel. In the evening, dinner and an overnight stay await you at the Ark.
Begin your day with a hearty breakfast before setting out for the Mt. Kenya region. In the afternoon, embark on a tour of Sweetwater's game ranch. Later, relish a delightful dinner and retreat for the night at Sweetwater's Tented Camp.
Beyond its role as a sanctuary, the area stands as the sole rehabilitation center for chimpanzees in the country. Efforts are made to ensure that two groups inhabit habitats mirroring their native surroundings. Additionally, the site provides a secure environment dedicated to the breeding of black rhinos.
Rise and make your way to Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch at the lodge. The park's distinctive charm lies in its profusion of flamingos and over 400 other bird species. From a distance, the lake presents a breathtaking sight with its pink hue, attributed to the multitude of flamingos gracing its waters.
Moreover, the national park serves as a vital sanctuary for endangered species such as Rothschild giraffes, black and white rhinos, lions, waterbucks, buffaloes, and baboons. Following an enriching afternoon of game drives, savor a delicious dinner and retire for the night at Lake Nakuru Lodge.
Following a hearty breakfast, continue your journey along the floor of the Rift Valley to Masai Mara National Reserve, where lunch awaits upon your arrival.
In the afternoon, venture on a captivating game drive through the reserve, immersing yourself in its breathtaking landscapes and abundant wildlife.
For dinner and a restful overnight stay, Mara Serena Safari Lodge promises a comfortable retreat amidst the wilderness.
Dedicate the entire day to exploring the park in search of the Big Five. For an additional fee of US$500 per person, you can opt for a balloon safari, or alternatively, visit the Maasai village for US$25 each.
The Mara boasts over 450 animal species, showcasing remarkable diversity and population sizes. Lions, rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses, crocodiles, giraffes, wildebeests, zebras, buffalos, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, leopards, various antelope species, and elephants are among the captivating creatures you may encounter here.
Furthermore, the Mara hosts one of nature's most extraordinary phenomena: the annual migration of millions of wildebeest and zebras from the Serengeti in pursuit of water and lush pastures. They are trailed by the savanna's predators—lion, cheetah, wild dog, jackal, hyena, and vulture—creating a spectacle of unparalleled beauty and drama.
Following your morning meal, set out on a game drive in the Mara region. Upon concluding the drive, return to Nairobi, with an estimated arrival time of around 2:00 pm.
At this point, you have the option to be transported to a hotel or directly to the airport for your onward journey. Our services are now complete.
