Guests must be at least 12 years old to join this tour.
You'll be transferred to Zanzibar Airport in preparation for your flight to Serengeti National Park. The flight typically lasts about 3 hours. Upon arrival, your guide will warmly welcome you before setting off on a late-morning game drive, which will extend until lunchtime. Enjoy a hot meal at midday before resuming the game drive until sunset. Later, retreat to the camp nestled in the heart of the park for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
At the crack of dawn, your exciting game drive begins. Following a light breakfast featuring tea or coffee and snacks, the morning expedition sets off at 5:59 am, concluding in the late morning. Around 9:00 am, return to the camp for a hearty breakfast.
The Serengeti game drive continues, allowing you to traverse various parts of the park while seeking out wildlife and enjoying the stunning savannah landscapes. Upon arrival at the airport, a driver will be available to transfer you to your hotel. Take the evening to relax, enjoy dinner, and get a good night's rest before your departure.
You will be picked up from the Hotel Slipway in Dar es Salaam to catch your flight to Kigoma. Upon arrival, a guide will escort you to the Kibirizi port for your boat journey to Gombe National Park. During the scenic 2-hour cruise, you'll have the opportunity to admire the park's breathtaking landscapes.
Upon reaching the park's entrance gate, a hearty meal will be provided. Accompanied by chimpanzee trackers, you'll embark on a trek to explore the park's rolling hills and lush vegetation in search of chimpanzees. In the evening, return to the tented camp for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
After indulging in a hearty breakfast, we'll venture into the forest for an exhilarating trek. This trek requires physical endurance, so ensure you're equipped with appropriate clothing and gear.
Our objective is to locate a chimpanzee family, our gracious hosts as we explore their natural habitat. Witnessing their interactions and foraging in the wild is a truly remarkable experience! We'll explore various parts of the forest, including Jane's Peak and captivating waterfalls, all integral to the chimpanzees' habitat. Later, we'll return to camp for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you'll have the chance to canoe in the serene waters of Lake Tanganyika.
Following a delightful breakfast, we embark on a chimpanzee trekking adventure, exploring diverse valleys and forests.
Upon noon's arrival, we return for a delightful lunch before commencing our journey back to Kigoma town. As dusk approaches, we reach Kigoma Hilltop Hotel, where a sumptuous dinner and a peaceful overnight stay await us.
Following a satisfying breakfast, we will coordinate your transportation to the airport for your return flight to either Dar Es Salaam or Arusha. At this juncture, your safari adventure will draw to a close.
